The Usual Suspects The Usual Suspects is a 1995 crime film directed by Bryan Singer. The film tells the story of Roger "Verbal" Kint a small-time con man who is the subject of a police interrogation. He tells his interrogator, U.S. Customs

Agent David Kujan a convoluted story about events leading to a massacre and massive fire that have just taken place on a ship docked at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro Bay. Using flashback and narration, Kint's story becomes increasingly complex . How did he and his partners, Keaton, Hockney and McManus come to be on the ship? Also who is Keyser Soze the brutal, but unseen, Crime Lord?

Scene Keaton,Verbal, Hockney and McManus have been forced by the mysterious Keyser Soze into carrying out a heist. The are to board a heavily guarded ship and steal its cargo. There is also expected to be $91,000,000 delivered to the ship in exchange for the cargo on board. If they recover the cargo before the deal is made the money is theirs. However, it is at this point the men realise they are about to undertake a virtual suicide mission..

Scene Script Keaton, Verbal, Hockney and McManus sit in a car near San Pedro Bay. KEATON It's a logistical nightmare. Close quarters, ten maybe twenty men. There’s no telling how many more are going to be below deck.

HOCKNEY Can we stealth these guys? KEATON Doubtful. With all that coke, they'll be ready - which brings me to sunny point number two. Even if one of us gets through and jacks the boat, we get nothing. McMANUS And if we wait for the money? KEATON Ten more men at least. In my opinion, it can't be done. Anyone who walks into this won't come out alive. McMANUS I'm for waiting for the money. HOCKNEY Me too. VERBAL Did you hear what he just said? HOCKNEY If I'm going in, I want a stake.

McMANUS So do I. Verbal is shocked by what he is hearing. He looks at Keaton as if to ask him for his decision.

VERBAL I just can't believe we're just gonna walk into certain death. PAUSE They all suddenly realize the seriousness of their situation. FINALLY: McMANUS News said it's raining in New York…..

While under his porch looking for his buried jar of

pennies, Vern overheard his older brother talking about finding the body while in the woods with a friend. The boys then embark upon a two-day journey near Castle Rock to find the body.

Scene Gordie, Vern Teddy and Chris have set off on their journey. It has been uneventful so far, but now they are beginning to think about food‌

Scene Script All: (Singing the theme song from their favorite TV western). "Have Gun, Will Travel" reads the card of a man. A knight without armor in a savage land. His fast gun for hire heeds the calling wind. A soldier of fortune is the man called, Paladin. Teddy: (Teddy finishes the ballad alone.) Paladin, Paladin, where do you roam? Paladin, Paladin, far, far from home. Gordie: (Considering their water supply) We could fill up at the junkyard. My dad says it's a safe well. Vern: Not if Chopper's there. Chris: If Chopper's there, we'll send you in. Vern: Ha-ha. Very funny. (Pause) Hey, I'm kinda hungry. Who's got the food? Teddy Oh, shit! Did anybody bring anything? Chris: Not me. Gordie? Teddy Oh, oh, this is great! What are we supposed to do, eat our feet?! Chris: You mean you didn't bring anything either?

Teddy: Well shit, this wasn't my idea! It was Vern's idea. Why didn't you bring something? Vern: What am I supposed to do, think of everything? I brought the comb! Teddy: Oh, great! You brought the comb! What do you need a comb for? You don't even have any hair! Vern: I brought it for you guys! Gordie: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey! Let's see how much money we got. (The boys take a seat between the rails to count their money.) Yeah, I got a dollar-two. Sixty-eight cents from Chris. Sixty cents from Teddy. (Vern is the last to ante up. Chris can't believe Vern's contribution.) Seven cents, Vern? Vern: I haven't found my pennies yet. Gordie: Well, two-thirty-seven's not bad. Quidacioluo's is at the end of that little road that goes by the junkyard. I think we can get some stuff there. Chris: Train comin'. Vern: Geronimo! (As he, Chris and Gordie clear the tracks. Chris notices that Teddy is still on the tracks, facing the oncoming train.) Chris: Come on, Teddy! Teddy: No. Uh-uh. I'm gonna dodge it. Chris: Come on Teddy, man. Get off the tracks—you're crazy. Teddy: Train dodge. Dig it. Chris: Get the hell off the tracks, Teddy! You wanna get yourself killed?! Teddy: Just like the beach at Normandy.

(Teddy imitates a machine-gun) Tfffffffffft. Chris: Come on, man. Come on! (Chris grabs Teddy and struggles with him, trying to pull him off the tracks. Finally he succeeds, and the train whizzes by, blowing its whistle) I'm just tryin' to save your life, man! You wanna kill yourself?! Is that what you want, goddamn it?! You're tryin' to kill yourself! Teddy: (There is a moment of tense silence once the train has passed. Teddy stares at Chris.) I don't need no babysitter. Chris: You do too. (Pause. Chris holds out the palm of his hand.) Skin it. Teddy: I could've dodged it. (Teddy ignores Chris' gesture and turns and starts to walk away) Chris: (Chris goes after Teddy and stops him) Listen, Teddy. You can dodge it on the way back, man. Peace. Skin it. ( Pause. Then Teddy skins it.)

Notting Hill Notting Hill is a 1999 romantic comedy film set in Notting Hill, London,. It was directed by Roger Michell.

William Thacker is the owner of an independent bookstore in Notting Hill that specializes in travel writing. Witty and handsome, he has not been coping well with his divorce and is currently sharing his house with an eccentric Welsh wannabe artist named Spike .One day, Thacker encounters world-famous Hollywood actress Anna Scott during her trip to London, when she enters his shop to purchase a book. Shortly thereafter, the pair accidentally collide in the street, causing William to spill his orange juice on both of them. He offers his house, which is just across the road, as a place for Anna to get changed. Having changed, Anna surprises William with a kiss. However, they have completely different lifestyles, which causes problems for their budding romance….

Scene Anna has entered William’s bookstore and is browsing for a travel book. William has somewhat awkwardly tried to assist her in her shopping , but now something captures his attention…

William suddenly spies something odd on the small TV monitor beside him. WILLIAM If you could just give me a second. Her eyes follow him as he moves toward the back of the shop and approaches a man in slightly ill-fitting clothes. WILLIAM Excuse me. THIEF Yes. WILLIAM Bad news. THIEF What? WILLIAM We've got a security camera in this bit of the shop. THIEF So? WILLIAM So, I saw you put that book down your trousers. THIEF What book? WILLIAM The one down your trousers. THIEF I haven't got a book down my trousers. WILLIAM Right -- well, then we have something of an impasse. I tell you what -- I'll call the police -- and, what can I say? -- If I'm wrong about the whole book-down-thetrousers scenario, I really apologize.

THIEF Okay -- what if I did have a book down my trousers? WILLIAM Well, ideally, when I went back to the desk, you'd remove the Cadogan guide to Bali from your trousers, and either wipe it and put it back, or buy it. See you in a sec. He returns to his desk. In the monitor we just glimpse, as does William, the book coming out of the trousers and put back on the shelves. The thief drifts out towards the door. Anna, who has observed all this, is looking at a blue book on the counter WILLIAM Sorry about that... ANNA No, that's fine. I was going to steal one myself but now I've changed my mind. Signed by the author, I see. WILLIAM Yes, we couldn't stop him. If you can find an unsigned copy, it's worth an absolute fortune. She smiles. Suddenly the thief is there. THIEF Excuse me. ANNA Yes. THIEF Can I have your autograph? ANNA What's your name? THIEF Rufus. She signs his scruffy piece of paper. He tries to read it. THIEF What does it say? ANNA Well, that's the signature – and above, it says 'Dear Rufus -- you belong in jail.' THIEF Nice one. Would you like my phone number? ANNA Tempting but... no, thank you. Thief leaves.
