Saturday and Sunday: The Westco Classic men’s 4’s competition was played over 2 days: winners: team Cribbin on 78pts; R/up on count back: Team Hanson also on 78 pts.

MEMORIAL BOWLS CLUB
Monday’s bowls afternoon and AGM were cancelled due to the heavy continuous rain showers. Both events are now set for next Monday, weather permitting. Programme will be as follows: Annual General Meeting commencing at 11am to complete election of office bearers for this year. Nominations will be accepted at the meeting. Social mixed bowls will commence at 1.30pm for three hours after cards are called at 1.15pm, with afternoon tea provided as part of the green fee. Bowlers
Ladies’ day was perfect for golf, and the 23 who decided to ‘Give Golf a Go’ had a very enjoyable day. Mungalli Dairy Products and the Millaa Millaa Hotel sponsored monthly medal: 18 players looking for the points on offer, with three finishing with a nett score of 67 which of course meant a count back. Winner: David Welch; R/up: Warwick Howarth; 3rd: Mal Armstrong (all 67pts); 4th: Geoff Errey, on countback from 5th: Mark Twomey (both 68pts). NTP: Ash Healy 5/1; Mal Armstrong 1/10; Graham Murray 8/17. Four raffle draws: Winners: Kelvin Brooks, Graham Murray, Don McHardie and the club, thanks to Gary Soper donating his win. Members draw not won. Next week is a stroke event sponsored by John and Yvonne Reynolds.
