Paws up if you want a friend for life

THEY say a man’s best friend is his dog. For many households it could be either a dog or the ever faithful aloof moggie. Either way we all love our pets and where would we be without them.

The Young Animal Protection Society Inc. (YAPS) is a non-profit organization that cares for homeless and unwanted dogs and cats.

Animals stay with them at their refuge centre and are provided with love, care and protection right up until the day they are adopted and re-homed with a “Forever Famiy’.

While most of their dogs and cats are able to find loving owners, some end up living out their days with us as permanent residents.

Visit YAPS this weekend, fall in love with one of their many dogs or cats and you will have a faithfuil friend forever.
