TW: d*ath, ab*se, death, abuse
This experimental zine was initially conceived to draw attention to the unique impact of maternal abuse, about which there is very little conversation (as opposed to the more commonplace topic of absent fathers, for example). In the process of creating it, it became more, in truth, of a purge of my own experiences. I do not know how relevant or what help this zine may be to anyone else, but in the hopes that one person may find the slightest comfort in knowing they aren’t alone in these feelings, I want to share it anyway. I may revisit the topic and make another, more generalised one in the future, but this is what I needed and ended up with for now.
This zine does deal with topics of death, and as mentioned, abuse, so, whilst it is not graphic, there is still the potential for it to be triggering. If this zine causes any upset, I encourage you to stop reading, take care of yourself first.
