When you are preparing dinner or grabbing a snack and you begin asking yourself the big question - “Should I remodel or update my existing kitchen? start to think about how connected and important your kitchen is to the rest of your home. Do you have a kitchen /breakfast bar that is open to the family room?

for your great room remodel: • Make sure your vision is clear in what you are trying to create. Save photos of kitchen/family rooms that you love. • Create a color pallet you enjoy living with. • Start looking at floor and cabinet choices to see how well they work with one another. Your color pallet will have a large bearing on your selections. Some colors are cool tones and some are warm tones. • Look at your options for counter tops and back splash materials. Personally, I look at many selections of back splash similar to choosing jewelry. Do you want them to be timeless or do you want them to make a real statement in the kitchen? It is all about your wants and needs.
4
Do they look like they connect or flow into one another? When considering doing a remodel, think about how the two areas will talk to one another. There needs to be a bond between the two rooms so that they don’t clash or feel too different from one another. Today the kitchen has become the heart of the modern house. This area has become the meeting place where everyone in the household does their day-to-day living. The living space is centered in and around the kitchen, meaning it’s no longer isolated from the homes social areas. Fireplaces, TV’s, free standing islands and desks are all equipped with power and internet access, making them focal points of personal gathering and interactions. One can now fix the evening meal while kids are doing their homework at the counter. Hubby is in the same area watching the nightly news. Think of both areas as a total unit. If your kitchen and living room and even dining room do not feel linked, where do you start? You need to draw inspiration by using the color combinations that you desire to be surrounded in. Once you create your color pallet (neutrals and accent colors) you are ready to begin your selections of kitchen flooring, wall color, cabinet style (including paint color), counter top material and back splash selection. Proper
CALIFORNIA RENOVATION magazine | JULY 2016
distribution of all the above needs to be incorporated into your family room choices as well. An example is matching the kitchen cabinetry to the media center in the family room. Once this is done, you may want to concentrate on how the conversation area (or focal point) will be created. The wrong upholstered furniture and how it is placed in the room can be detrimental to the entire feel of the space. All elements are interconnected so make sure your furniture layout creates continuity. You need to feel relaxed and engaged in the space. Unity is an important element of successful great room designs. At the end of the day decisions need to be made. Do you feel comfortable making these decisions or do you need to hire a professional that can ask the right questions to get the right results? With an interior designer that understands your style, you can be assured your project will unfold exactly as planned. Sherrie Swass, a professional design consultant offers a 2 hour design in-home consultation that will answer all your questions and assist you in creating your personal design plan for your project.

What if you could see what was in your fridge while at the grocery store? How about browse recipes, order items you needed, and organize them into your calendar without using your mobile device? Want to hear some music while doing this but don’t have speakers or a “radio” in your kitchen? What if your fridge played music too? Why not? The Samsung Family HubTM Refrigerator can do all that and more! It syncs with all your mobile devices and computers to keep you informed. Not to mention the triple cooling and humidity control, and a customizable right door section you can switch between normal cold and freezer settings. Solar Energy and other renewables are becoming increasingly popular, especially in California. By leslie williams
For the home owners that are interested in making efficient home improvements to lower energy bills or reduce water usage with little or no upfront costs, there’s an attractive option many are unaware of. It’s called PACE. Property assessed clean energy (PACE) is a means of financing energy efficiency upgrades or renewable energy installations for homes and businesses. PACE may prove to be the most effective way to pay for energy improvements for your home. Available since 2010 throughout California, PACE is saving money for homeowners, creating jobs, and helping local governments achieve important environmental goals.

going green
Pace programs help home and business owners pay for the upfront costs of green initiatives, such as solar panels, HVAC, artificial turf, windows and doors, roofing, pavers, lighting, attic insulation, and water conserving upgrades. The loans are repaid over the selected term (a course of time between 5 and 25 years) via an annual assessment on their property tax bill. This usually means that property owners have net gains even with increased property tax. The Sacramento region has a few Pace Programs available. For example, The Hero Program, mPOWER, CaliforniaFirst and Ygrene works. The HERO Program is a widely adopted Residential PACE Program in the U.S., accounting for a large percentage of all projects. The program is offered in over 350 cities and has financed over $1 billion in energy and water saving improvements. Money for Property Owner Water and Energy Efficiency Retrofitting (mPOWER) provides a 6% fixedrate financing for residential, property owners who want to install energy efficiency, water conservation or renewable energy retrofits. custom dining décor. Carol wanted to reflect her unique style in her home without paying extreme prices or compromising on the look and quality she wanted. For years she has been making table runners, chair covers, placemats, and table cloths. Explaining that a table setting is “...an extension of the unique you and [that it] adds fun [and entertainment].” she has found through custom designs that you are given the freedom to choose fabric materials, shapes and sizes that fit the desired looks and needs of your home. When deciding on your new table set, the interior designer suggests following her equation of color-scheme + period style + degree of formality = choice of fabric. Match the fabrics texture, colors and patterns with your dining room and dinnerware to match the formality of that particular place setting. Traditional patterns are 14
more formal than using contemporary prints, and silky fabrics with some shine add elegance while cotton is a classic. Adding trim can enhance either the formality or the playfulness of your setting. For a complete look, your table setting will need to include chair covers (or cushions/covers), table runner, place mats or table cloth, napkins and coasters. Other additions include center pieces and napkin rings. A good quality, unique dining set available for use is a good to have on hand. selecting
Choosing the kitchen color palette is a fun and thoughtful process. Color will determine the mood of the kitchen Classic? Organic? Feeling modern? What tone you want to set will be determined by the colors and patterns you pick. Take some time to compare curtains, cabinets, and back splashes to get the ideal look.
vivid & bright
A dash of color as a back splash, wall paint, or something as simple as hand towels or curtains, can really brighten a room. After picking your base tone, keep your eyes open for opportunities to add accent color to your kitchen or bath. Colors can provide emotional undertones to a room. For example, blue is a calm and thoughtful color, while orange and yellow are uplifting and happy. Green stirs creativity and red is bold and energetic. What emotional inspiration do you want in your kitchen?

Natural Gray
When picking out your color palette, whites and grays are classic colors that will always stay in style. Natural colors are a perfect base for any additional colors, patterns, or textures you want to add, and will go with everything in your kitchen. It is a good idea to start your planning with a basic, neutral color and then branch off from there.

natural stone The focal point of any kitchen is the countertop. Its design and look can set the style of your kitchen when doing your remodel. While there are a variety of materials a kitchen or bathroom countertop can be made of, if you want the best durability and the easiest care, the classics are the way to go. This guide is limited to natural stone but don’t be detered! There is still a large selection of colors, patterns and styles to choose from.
granite For a truly classic look, granite is your pick. An extremely durable, igneous rock that requires very little maintenance, you don’t have to worry about scratches or stains, and it can be easily cleaned. To top it off, RCO Tile & Stone offers a 15 year stain warranty for peace of mind. RCO Tile & Stone carries materials from local suppliers. Pro’s: Scratch-resistant; heatresistant; can be inexpensive; unique pattern exclusive to your own slab. Con’s: Must be sealed once a year. (Easily done with an all-in-one cleaner/sealer. porcelain Porcelain is beginning to catch on in fashion. It has a wide range of styles and colors while being stronger than granite. It comes in a variety of different finishes which makes it a good candidate for a back-splash. For a porcelain counter, the edge can only be squared, meaning no round or beveled edges. You will be paying on average a bit more than granite or quartz, yet this upfront cost balances out its longevity.RCO TIle & Stone carries Neolith, Dekton, and many other brands. Pro’s: No sealant required, same look as marble, Scratchproof and heat proof, can be used outside (UV proof). Con’s: Cost, edge detail (only square edge), limited size.
quartz E.
A strong and beautiful stone that has been outpacing its competition due to the variety of colors and styles it can come in. Quartz can look like marble, granite, or be a solid bright color making it the most versatile of the countertops. Quartz is a clean and safe countertop that requires very little maintenance, heat-resistant, and ranges in price from very reasonable to high-end unique designs. RCO Tile & Stone carries: Caesarstone, Cambria, Silestone, One-Quartz, Bella Terra. Pro’s: Versatile style; can be inexpensive; no sealer required.
marble
Marble is a soft material not greatly suited for a kitchen counter, but perfect as a bathroom slab or backsplash. It has a beautiful and clean look that can enhance your bathrooms framework. Marble comes in two choices: honed or polished which will determine surface texture. There When remodeling your bathroom, keep this gorgeous stone in mind. RCO Tile & Stone carries: Arizona Tile.
Con’s: No exterior kitchen use (no direct sunlight).
Pro’s: Elegant looking, comes in two finishes (honed & polished). Perfect for a bathroom. Con’s: Staining, scratching, etching, soft stone, can be expensive.

The kitchen and bathroom are the most used rooms in any house. Your floor will undergo trials of accidents, spills, dropped food, scratching, foot traffic, and ones yet to happen. Keep these in mind and prioritize what you need out of your flooring. For a room that involves water usage, you will
stone
want water-resistant flooring which means no carpet. Durability and maintenance of your new floor will need to be considered and of course your budget. The options all have their own advantages that it really depends upon what your highest priority for that space is.
Natural stone is always a classic as seen in ancient architecture. Perfect for a more traditional looking bathroom or kitchen, it can also provide beautiful texture to a more modern looking house. It’s a strong, sturdy material that requires very little maintenance making it great for kitchens. It being stone, it is also heavy, hard, and cold, so weigh the pro’s and con’s of using stone before installing. Daltile, Arizona Tile, Emser
Pro’s: Looks beautiful, keep allergens away, long lasting. Con’s: Cold, can etch, staining, requires sealer.
ceramic / porcelain Highest versatility in style, modern techniques have ceramic and porcelain looking like wood, natural stone, or a modern design. They are water-resistant and a good option for durability + budget. RCO Tile & Stone carries many brands of flooring to choose from in a variety of styles and colors.
22
Pro’s: water resistant, durable, heat resistant, easy to clean, scratch resistant, budget ranges make it an affordable option, variety in styles. Con’s: cold, may be hard on knees, can crack if a heavy object dropped (tile can be replaced).

vinyl / lvt
stone
Vinyl and Laminate are the most budget-friendly option for flooring. It can also come in a variety of styles that mimic wood or stone yet price will determine its quality. It is easy to install and can even be installed over an uneven surface. A quick and cheap option especially for a house to go on sale. Pro’s: vinyl - waterresistant, many styles and colors, easy to clean, very affordable. Con’s: Can burn, scratch, stain, wood laminate is not as waterproof as vinyl, environmental impact (made of plastic).
wood
With advances in engineered wood, it is now a safe option for kitchens and even bathrooms! Brands such as Coretec create water-resistant woods that look beautiful, making it possible to have a nice, continuous floor from living room to dining room, to kitchen. Make sure to use a brand that offers guarantees before installing to get the most out of this flooring. RCO TIle & Stone carries many brands including: COREtec, Mohawk, Johnson, Provenza Pro’s: Looks beautiful, warm, continuous flooring throughout house.
Con’s: Must use the correct brand or else not water-resistant.

Besides its necessary function to protect walls from water and stains, a backsplash can make a statement. With an almost unlimited selection in styles, this part of the remodel can seem daunting and even exhausting. Deciding on your countertop first will narrow your options for the backsplash, allowing you to focus on matching colors, patterns, and textures. The material of your backsplash, ideally, should be decided on first. Once that has been chosen, colors, pattern and cut will be next.
In-Style Glass comes in so many colors and cuts, you are guaranteed to find a style that works for you. From small, mosaic tiles to larger sheets, glass shines and can range from contemporary to classic in style. Prices range from reasonable to on the expensive end. 24
CALIFORNIA RENOVATION magazine | JULY 2016
When matching colors, your backsplash should compliment the countertop. A bright or colorful countertop should be paired with a neutral backing. A natural colored slab can be accented with subtle colors or a patterned backsplash. While you may place backsplash throughout much of your kitchen or backroom, chose focal areas to add a focal point - the best choices tend to be above your stove, sinks, or in your shower as they are natural areas of focus.
ceramic If you want unique patterns, bold color, and easier on the wallet, then pick ceramic. It has versatility to be traditional and neutral toned or vibrant and colorful. Using ceramic also means picking grout color which can blend into the style or contrast, highlighting the pattern.
remodel
stone
A simple and easy backsplash is to just continue your stone countertop up the wall to the desired height. Depending on what countertop you picked, your backsplash will have the same properties, making stone an affordable and easy choice.
sink
The backsplash around your sink is one of the most important areas of your kitchen or bathroom - not just for function but because it tends to be a focal point of these spaces. Due to the focus on this area, take the opportunity to add something special here. It could be as simple as some accent colors or as complex as a custom made piece of work incorporated into the backsplash. Choosing something interesting to incorporate in this area of your backsplash allows your design to be eye catching but not overpowering.
In-Style
Walk-In Shower The curbless shower is a sensible design for any remodeled bath. It is easily accessible, having no curb to step over for entry, which also makes it simpler to clean. This shower is modern looking and visually easy on the eye due to its simple and sleek design. With the way it’s designed, it shares the light with the rest of the bathroom and can be built with a bench and handrails.
shower or tub
Like the sink, your shower and tub are focal points of your bathroom. To dress up the space around these areas, utilize your backsplash to add visual interest to these areas. This can be done through adding a touch of color or a even using a different material all together. It can also be accomplished through changing the direction of your material to create a sort of border. Yet another option to include in your backsplash, not just for visual interest but function as well, is a recessed shower shelf. These areas are ideal to create a focal point in your shower while also adding extra storage.

Choosing the cabinets for your kitchen or bathroom is a weighted decision. You must consider material, color, structure and add on features before making your final selection. Waypoint eases the process with a wide variety of quality products to ensure you have the cabinets that fit your lifestyle and look. They offer several material options and colors including: Cherry, Maple, Hickory, Oak, Painted and Thermofoil. Once you have chosen your material and color you must decide on structure – framed or framless cabinets. While framed cabinets have been common in US homes traditionally, frameless cabinets are becoming a fixture of modern kitchens and bathrooms as they allow more storage than rail style cabinets. Beyond the material and structure, you can enhance your cabinets through options including molding, hardware and glass insets which are becoming popular in today’s modern kitchens. Choosing the lighting for your remodel project is more important than many people originally realize. It’s not simply about finding the fixtures that look right but also about using light sources and placement that compliment your space. Before choosing lighting, decide what you need and want out of your space - do you simply desire function from your lighting or do you also want your room to convey a feeling? To get a better idea of how different lighting will effect your room, check out the side bar to learn more about the four categories of lighting and their characteristics. In addition to types of light, consider the placement of lighting based on need and desired effects. Do you want to highlight an aspect of your kitchen or bathroom? Can you change the effect on your room with a light placed higher or lower?
placement
The best spot in your bathroom is at eye level on either side of your mirror. This way, you have the most flattering light on your face and it disperses around the bathroom most effectivly. Once you have your main lighting in, the rest is identifying the darker areas and spreading the light around to create consistant brightness.
vanity mirror Besides being the focal point of the bathroom, mirrors help reflect light which in turn brightens up the bathroom. In addition to reflecting light, mirrors can make a bathroom feel larger if placed appropriately.
Categories of Lighting
Task Lighting is used to illuminate the work space and is based on function. This is a neccesity in rooms such as the bathroom or kitchen.
Decorative Lighting is simply about focus points of light in your room that are used to add interest to your space.
Accent Lighting is used to add depth and dimension to your room.
Ambient Light tends to be delicate in nature and about setting a mood for your space.

“RCO transformed an under-utilized room in our lower level at a spectacular home theater! Marc, John, Herman, and all of their crew worked diligently to take my rudimentary drawing/idea on a piece of scratch paper and turn our 1940’s basement room into a cheery, stylish, (and most importantly) state-of-the-art functional theater room. We couldn’t be happier with the entire process. Incredible attention to detail, excellent communication (which in my humble opinion is the most crucial product. They tackled each obstacle our older home presented with humor and talent, and as another reviewer mentioned, these guys are the real deal and by the end of the project they felt like family. We cannot recommend them highly enough. In fact, we will be using them for other projects throughout our home.” James & Katie Worledge, Carmichael, CA CALIFORNIA RENOVATION magazine | JULY 2016

Pavers VS
Concrete A tough question when having your driveway re-done, your patio remodeled, or a walkway installed, is to choose between pavers or concrete. Both surfaces have their advantages and disadvantages so doing your research is very important! This is a major decision involving money, quality, and beauty that you will not want to take lightly.
concrete We all know what concrete is. We see it everywhere in the US. It’s in our backyards, front yards, streets, sidewalks, everywhere! Concrete can have a simple brush or aggregate finish. It can be stamped in many patterns, be colored or have a brick border. Wonder why is it so prevalent in the US? The simple answer? Cost. Concrete can be as cheap as $3.00 a square foot. Quality concrete installed correctly will cost between $9.00 and $15.00 per square foot. photo LEFT: Kansascityconcrete.com PHOTo ABOVE: signatureconcretedesign.com
CALIFORNIA RENOVATION magazine | JULY 2016
35
outdoor What determines the cost of the job is the way the concrete is prepared and finished. If done correctly, it entails excavation of soil, compacting the road base, forming the perimeter and reinforcing the concrete. Then to finish it properly, stamping the concrete, coloring and sealing the surface. The unfortunate reality of choosing concrete is that it will need to be re-colored and re-sealed to keep it looking nice and it will crack at some point (sometimes the day it is poured!) If short-term budgeting is your goal, then concrete should definitely be considered.
pavers Two thousand years ago pavers were the only form of hardscape available. The Romans developed the process of carving flat stones out of a hillside and using them for their roads which are still around today. Thirty percent of Europe is paved in stone with some roads dating back 2000 years ago. While more popular in the Eastern part of the United States, only three percent of the United States uses pavers. The process of producing pavers has evolved, thanks to technology. Modern day pavers are a concrete product made in a controlled environment that have an ASTM standard that is four times the strength of standard concrete. They can come in almost any color and many different styles to create a unique look. Pavers can look modern, be textured, chiseled, or look antiquated and more like cobblestone. Design possibilities are endless with pavers. Layout, Color coordination, patterns, all can be uniquely designed to match your home. Now for the cost. There is a much wider price range for pavers than concrete simply because of all of the variables and options. It can range between $12 $30 for an installation. A reasonable range should be between $16 to $20 per square foot for most patios and driveways as it all depends on the style of the stone. The installation process can vary, but for longevity and quality, there is only one type of installation. A typical installed patio would require excavation, compaction of the soil, Geotex fabric laid on the soil, compacted road base, bedding sand with the pavers installed into the sand and border stones. The labor takes a bit longer than concrete meaning the short-term price is higher, but in the long-term, pavers look better, last longer, and enhance the value of your home. 36
CALIFORNIA RENOVATION magazine | JULY 2016
doing the math For many, the choice is mostly influenced by budget. Upfront, concrete seems the more pocket-friendly option until you add in the costs of upkeep. Let’s say the immediate cost of getting a concrete slab of 1000 square feet at $10 is $10,000. Figuring in replacing the cracks, re coloring and re-sealing, or having to re-do the whole thing three to five years down the line, the actual cost is $20,000 to keep that driveway safe and looking nice. Now if pavers are $16 a square foot your costs are a one-time $16,000. Not to mention the added value to your home.
final decision
photos ABOVE: exterior worlds landscaping and design photos LEFT: alliedoutdoorsolutions.com
Close your eyes and imagine what you want your patio to look like. What style of driveway would compliment your home? The decision making process should figure in long term and short term, budget and of course, how happy you will be with it five years from now. If considering pavers, call RCO Home Improvement and ask for Tony Baumgartner. He’ll be happy to help you with a free design.

Introducing the Mitsubishi Ductless Cooling & Heating System
38
CALIFORNIA RENOVATION magazine | JULY 2016
U PG R A DE F O R your h o m e It’s that time of year again. Lawn mowers are humming in the distance, trucks pulling ski boats have replaced school buses on the roads, and ice cream parlors are packed with tiny, eager customers. Yes, summer is here! However, regardless of whether or not you own a pool to cool off in, dealing with your old HVAC system to keep your house comfortable (let alone cool) is an often unwelcome trade-off to the many enjoyments summer brings. In addition to the temperamental moods your air conditioners seem to adopt (which can mimic those of a teenager’s) and the money spent to make them operable again, budgeting the overwhelming spike in your utility bill during the summer months can make you resentful towards the season altogether. Perhaps you’ve researched the cost of a new (traditional, forced-air) HVAC system and have relinquished that dream to costly, yet manageable annual repairs to your existing system instead. If only there was a maintenance-free system that costs half as much as a traditional, forced-air system that could be installed in a mere couple days... Introducing the Mitsubishi Ductless Cooling and Heating System (also known as split system, split-air system, split-ductless system - you get the idea). You’ve probably seen one before in a restaurant or office (small, rectangular box mounted high on a wall) and thought nothing of it because the room you were in was so comfortable you had no reason to wonder “Does this room even have air conditioning?” (or heating for that matter). What’s most astonishing is how superior it ranks when compared to a traditional, forced-air system in terms of: overall cost, length of installation, installation options, month-to-month efficiency, air quality filtration, long-term maintenance, room-to-room zoning, ozone friendliness, and operating volume. Have I mentioned it can also be integrated into your home to work alongside with your existing HVAC as well?
That’s right, in fact one of the key benefits to the Mitsubishi Ductless System is the “zoning options” it offers which in short means they’re installed to operate in individual rooms of your house (or building). This feature affords incredible efficiency when used to cool or heat your home because it allows you to climate-control only the rooms you’re using versus trying to control every square foot of your home simultaneously. Additionally, because these small units are mounted in each room, their filtration is unrivaled especially when compared to the single-filtered, long ducting systems which tend to force dust and allergens throughout the house. As for operating these systems, you have additional options from using the remote controls that come with each unit, to using a traditional thermostat. John McNamee, owner of Quality Sheet Metal & Air in Lincoln, CA, has personally seen a demand-increase with these units. In business since 1992, John attests that as more and more consumers have become aware of the landslide benefits the Mitsubishi Ductless Systems offer, its become a big part of their services rendered. Because the installation is minimally invasive, they have also been installed in condominiums and apartment buildings. You can visit Quality Sheet Metal & Air online at www. lincolncahvaccontractors.com and see for yourself why they’re becoming one of the highly sought-after HVAC companies installing the Mitsubishi systems locally. Whether you’re about to venture down the exciting, yet treacherous journey of a home remodel or have simply become intolerant towards your existing HVAC system, consider a Mitsubishi Ductless System as a viable alternative. After all, summertime shouldn’t be a metaphor exclusive to “outdoor fun”, but rather a symbolic term for “family time” whether you’re outdoors or staying in. It’s time you enjoy summer like a kid again; worry-free. For more information call John McNamee 916.846.9363

HOW HYDROGEN PEROXIDE CAN HELP By California Renvoation Staff
When feeling sick, fatigued, or even just wanting to enhance your appearance a little, you might not have to look farther than your medicine cabinet. Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) is a compound rich in oxygen that some say is a good solution for all sorts of ailments. First discovered in 1818 by French scientist Louis Jacques Thernard, who was experimenting with barium peroxide
to see if he could create an oxygenated acid. It wasn’t available to use until 1894 after chemist Richard Wolffenstein discovered a method to safely extract the chemical from water. Since then, hydrogen peroxide has become well known for its disinfecting power and stain removing properties. Yet it can do so much more, with some claiming it to be a go-to solution for daily ailments.

Alden Okie (shown right) of ‘Sunrise Natural Foods’ in Roseville has passion and knowledge when it comes to homeopathic remedies. Many customers have come to Alden because of his friendly manner, experience, and ability to access information through researching on the internet. People with health concerns due to an illness, over-prescribed medications, or chronic health matters looking for some relief may find it through Natural means. Alden touts the perceived benefits of foodgrade hydrogen peroxide through inhalation, sprays and dilution in water.“Natural Remedies can balance out your immune system. Things we grew up with can help. Who would have known?”
HOW IT WORKS The theory behind the use of hydrogen peroxide as a health remedy has to do with the high count of oxygen in the compound (remember above about Mr. Thernard’s experiment?) and how that oxygen interacts with intruders into the body. Our white blood cells devour bacteria and kill them using hydrogen peroxide in a controlled setting. The idea is that by safely ingesting diluted 3 percent hydrogen peroxide, you are doing what your white blood cells do to “drown” bad bacteria in oxygen. For some people, this method has worked well for them as they have noticed better health or an increase in energy.
SO Many Uses!
Hydrogen peroxide has many other uses that are currently in practice. A tiny amount mixed with baking soda is a great toothpaste that helps to remove stains from your teeth through daily usage. You can slowly lighten up your hair color by using a small amount diluted in water sprayed in damp hair, washing out after about 15 minutes, and repeating daily for about a week. Do you have a stain on your counter top, tile or carpet? Mixing hydrogen peroxide with vinegar or dish soap (for carpets) will help remove stains. There is also the original use of hydrogen peroxide to help sterilize a cut on your hand or a disinfect surface that cleaning. 42
Alden Okie is happy to help anyone interested in bettering their health through natural means. You can also ask Alden at Sunrise Natural Foods for many more helpful uses of hydrogen peroxide. He advocates the importance of a healthy body, healthy habits, and always keeping your options open to find what works the best for you. You can find him at Sunrise Natural Foods where he can discuss strategies and lifestyle changes for a better peace of mind.
