The building as part of the artificial landscape. The purpose was to create a strong visual connection between the city and the park. This was done. by ‘peeling’ the surface of the dam, creating a green walkable roof that resembles a meadow.

The roof of the building transforms the old dam into a meadow, landscaped and planted with flora that creates a spectacle throughout the year for each of the four seasons. The surface of the meadow is punctured by the three green houses, creating an opportunity for engagement, allowing the visitors to get a sneak peek of the inside life. The spiralling ramps of the greenhouses reconnect with the path of the dam.
