Project Involvements:

I have experience on all the above projects from feasibility studies, bulk and location, concept, preliminary, developed and detailed design stages, as well as construction documentation and observation, assisting project architects. My strengths are translating client and user group requirements into an architectural idea, spatial planning at all scales, presentation drawings, design communication and documentation for buildability.

To date, my experience in the architectural industry has been in the commerical sector focusing on designing communities. Ranging from education facilities and interior refurbishments to masterplanning.

As well as my passion for architecture, I’ve always had one for the sport of Canoe / Kayak Slalom, which I represented New Zealand in at World tours for over 7 years, before heading to university to study architecture. Now days I share my knowledge coaching and competing socially.

Involvement: Responsible for all interior planning elements and material selections for 42 learning spaces, from concept through to detailed design, tender and building consent. Strong stakeholder management was crucial to ensure the objectives were met for the client and Ministry of Education, and to cater for the differing requirements of the six education departments at Northcote College housed withing the Technology block.
