Alaska is a prime destination for those seeking an adventure. Its natural beauty and vast wilderness allow for you to get up close and personal with mother natures playground. The best time to visit Alaska would be around mid-May to early-September, this is when the sun is at its highest with temperatures around 50-70°F. Glacier bay National Park should be on the top of your places to visit. Alaska’s national and state parks provide ample opportunities to explore and experience the Last Frontier. Ocean day cruises are available in several areas of Alaska, that offer a wonderful glimpse of the coastal landscape with its dramatic mountain scenery, tidewater glaciers and wildlife. The pristine wildness of Alaska is perhaps, the last vestige of thriving populations of North American wildlife. Polar bears, grizzly bears, blue whales, gray wolves, moose, orcas, humpback whales, bald eagles, the list is end-
Chicago Chicago is a huge city with several districts where you can enjoy sightseeing, live music, extravagant restaurants, live sports and a vibrant nightlife. Chicago is located in Illinois, and as the third largest city in the United States just behind New York and Los Angeles, Chicago has so much to see and do. It is the home of the blues and the truth of jazz, the heart of comedy and the first builder of the skyscraper. Here, the age of railroads found its centre, and airplanes followed. It is one of the world’s great cities, and yet the metropolitan luxuries of theatre, shopping, and fine dining have barely put a dent in real Midwestern friendliness. Chicago has being the film set of many gangster films such as Road to Perdition, Little Caesar and Scarface to name a few. Back in the 1940s, much of America’s organised crime took place in Chicago as it was and still is an industrial gold mine not to mention its prime location in the Heart of America. Al Capone started his career in Chicago, becoming one of the top influences for the Colosimo mob. There are now various tours you can take which look at how Al Capone and various other mob
Las Vegas should be on the very top of any young persons cities to visit before you die! With its extreme gambling, extravagate shows, 24/7 strip clubs and surreal city based hotels, who has time to sleep? If you’re seeking a thrill greater than any jackpot win be sure to take a ride on the stratospheres deathdeifying roller coaster over 350 meters high. After all how many people can honestly say they had the guts to ride the world’s highest roller coaster.
It’s over and done. We know Walter White’s fate. The thrill of Heisenberg’s transformation will grace our screens no longer. Over its six aired seasons, TV series Breaking Bad became a cult hit, drawing in millions of viewers from around the world. Eyes were peeled for those vast blue skies and sweeping desert scenes that gave the show its iconic atmosphere. Creator and writer Vince Gilligan originally set the show in Los Angeles, but when the state of New Mexico offered tax rebates, they picked up and moved east. Gilligan said that over the course of the six seasons, the city of Albuquerque became an integral character on the show. These beautiful, stark and sometimes lonely vistas have begun to draw set-jetters to the Duke City in search of Heisenberg’s hometown.
New Orleans is one of the world’s most fascinating cities. Steeped in a history of influences from Europe, the Caribbean, Africa and beyond, it’s home to a truly unique melting pot of culture, food and music. You’ll find late nights in dark jazz clubs, strolls through historic neighborhoods, and tantalizing festivals throughout the year. Come down and experience New Orleans, one of America’s most culturally and historically rich destinations. One of the most fascinating things about new Orleans is its spiritual connection with voodoo dating back to the time of the slaves. After slaves started a massive revolt in 1791, the assortment of beliefs and practices brought over from different parts of Western Africa united into New Orleans voodoo. Take a trip to the new Orleans Voodoo museum to find out more!

The classic trip to New York would involve a large shopping spree in Macy’s outlet, a boat ride around the statue of liberty and a walk around central park. But why not try something a little alternative that would leave some powerful memories and a different outlook on the big apple. New York City was not so long ago considered a no go zone for many tourists due to its high levels of gang related crime in such a concentrated area. With the help of tough policing and a lot of money, New York City seems to have got rid of this problem however, it still remains an issue in various suburbs such as Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queen’s Bridge and The Projects. These places may not be featured in the typical travel brochure, but that’s not to say don’t go. You’ll find a world of untouched art and culture coming in all different forms around the self-proclaimed concrete jungle. Brooklyn in early 1900s was a mecca for immigrants arriving via Ellis Island. A hundred years later, young professionals and artists left pricey Manhattan digs for cheaper and more spacious Brooklyn. Neighborhoods such as Brooklyn Heights and Park Slope, which had fallen into disrepair over the years, were restored and reborn as funky enclaves. Walk or cycle over the historic Brooklyn Bridge (or take the subway) to Brooklyn Heights for a stroll along the Promenade and breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline. Meander through Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens for a taste of nature in the urban wilderness.
Texas Forget West Palm. Warm up in west Texas. Dive desert springs, bomb Big Bend single track, but watch your step with the rattlers. The region’s exotic qualities have long attracted Hollywood and the Wild West. Recent films No Country For Old Men and There Will Be Blood were filmed in the area. Over the years, many towns have sprung up across Texas. Not all of these towns survived. Today Texas is littered with “Ghost Towns,” each of which add a little to the legend and lore of the Lone Star State, many of which have become popular tourist attractions in their own right.
Wyoming Yellowstone National Park is a sanctuary for some of the most incredible animals of our time. Most of the species of animals we would expect to see right across America have been hunted to near extension. 200 years ago massive herds of bison could be found almost everywhere, but due to over hunting only a small number of these mighty creatures remain. As the worlds first national park, Yellowstone has being there refuge and you’re pretty much guaranteed to see them grazing on the great plains. What makes Yellowstone so unique is its volcanic climate and harsh seasonal conditions. Geysers can be found right across the reign but perhaps the most incredible is old faithful geyser located right next to snow lodge. A massive blast of steam shoots out of the hole up to 134 feet high, which takes place roughly every two hours. Scientists monitor this carefully and keep records of any change in the climate. It is predicted that at some point in the future (could be thousands of years time) Yellowstone will erupt wiping out much of America. Don’t let this put you off visiting, make it your reason!
