Cal Poly Baseball No. 39 Among Over 300 Division I Teams in Attendance in 2014
Cal Poly averaged 1,659 fans for its 34 home dates in 2014, drawing 56,429 folks through the turnstiles. The average was No. 39 among over 300 NCAA Division I baseball programs. Topping the list was LSU with an average of 10,880 per game, followed by Arkansas with 8,234 and Mississippi State with 8,127.
The 2015 average was 1,107, the Mustangs drew 1,170 per game in 2016, the 2017 season produced a 1,523 average with over 1,000 fans in 24 of the 25 home dates and, in 2018, Cal Poly averaged 1,540 customers for 28 home dates with at least 1,000 fans in all but one of the 30 home dates.

Cal Poly was seventh among schools in the five West Region conferences -- Pac-12, Big West, Mountain West, Western Athletic and West Coast, covering 47 schools, in 2014. Hawai’i led the way with a 3,140 average, followed by Oregon State (2,931) and Arizona State (2,844).
Cal Poly averaged 2,818 for the four regional games, 2,614 fans during the Cal State Fullerton series, 2,597 for the UC Irvine series and 2,250 for the UC Santa Barbara series.
Cal Poly’s top crowd for a single game is 3,284 for Cal State Fullerton on May 6, 2005, while the top crowd total for a three-game series is 8,585 for Cal State Fullerton on May 6-8, 2005.
