01 SUPER GRIP SOLE
For daily use in
MEDICINE, kitchens and THE gastronomy SECtor Precisely in the medical, kitchen and gastronomy sectors, being able to trust one’s equipment is paramount. To guarantee this, BIRKENSTOCK Professional has developed models with the super-grip sole which, thanks to its special design with highly elastic layers, offers additional comfort. The EVA insole automatically compensates for uneven surfaces, whilst the anti-slip, oil and grease-resistant rubber outer sole fulfils the regulatory requirements of EN ISO 13287; 2012.
The super grip sole consists of two components: a heavily cushioned intermediate sole made of EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) and an anti-slip rubber outer sole tested in accordance with EN ISO 13287:2012. The outer sole is also particularly resistant to oil and grease. The super-grip sole is ideal for daily use in hospitals, kitchens and the gastronomy sector.

Construction of the ESD Soft Footbed Walking on different types of flooring automatically generates an electrostatic charge. Subsequent contact with conductive materials and medical devices, but also with patients and colleagues, causes a sudden discharge. This is accompanied by a spark and a small electric shock. ESD sandals and clogs have been developed to provide protection and prevent unpleasant shocks (from 105 to 3.4 Ă— 107 ohms, according to EN ISO 61340).

Optimal mobility and
improved comfort in wear ALPRO® knee protectors and knee cushions serve as a relief while performing work in a kneeling position on the ground or near the ground. They distribute small punctual strains of the kneecap broadly and therefore virtually dissolve the pressure on knee and kneecap. The consequences: less strains, barely any pain, more comfortable working.
ALPRO® knee protectors were developed in cooperation with the association of commercial and industrial workers’ compensation insurance carriers.
The ALPRO® knee protection pad is also adapted to the anatomical form of the shin, providing improved comfort during wear.
The knee pad has been tested by TÜV (German Technical Inspection Agency) and certified
according to EN 14404:2004 + A1:2010 (personal protective equipment – knee pad for work in
a kneeling position).

The Velcro straps are clear of the back of the knee, which avoids constriction and at the same time allows optimal mobility. .

With the continuously variable Velcro straps the protectors can be properly adjusted and fastened to the knee.
