THE CLUSTER Santander’s Coffee Cluster is an initiative that works with different actor from the value chain of coffee. Lead by The Chamber of Commerce of Bucaramanga since 2016 its objective is to improve the competitiveness of the coffee companies of Santander, The board of the cluster is made up of 14 companies, and 13 are coffee growers.

In our crops, located in the beautiful municipality of Valle de San José, Santander, we alternate coffee with trees of different heights, protecting soils and basins, providing natural nutrients to the soil, and generating an environment conducive to the conservation of biodiversity, with the interrelation of birds, butterflies, bees and other beneficial organisms. Thus, we allow the creation of a unique and differentiated microclimate, which is perceived in the special flavor and aroma of Café Don Humbe. All our processes are 100% natural and handmade, ensuring quality and sustainability over time.

Café Raices de la Provincia comes from the farms Las Margaritas, Villa Luisa and Villa Laura located in the La Caldera Village of the Municipo de Confines, whose plantations are cultivated under shade and are characterized by leafy trees, abundant water, ecological reserve and biodiversity of species that give the coffee unique cup characteristics. The weather and edaphic conditions of the Farm "San Fernando", on the northeast of the Mesa De Los Santos, near to the Piedecuesta town, Department of Santander, Colombia; makes possible to grow coffee under a rainforest moist tropical's blanket artificially of low density. This influences the plants with a bimodal rain of intense summer days and pretty cold winter nigths, allowing a slow filling of the Coffee Cherries that give forest's hues in the beans of the best quality.

Café los Comuneros has proudly been into existence since 1946. It was founded in Socorro-Santander-Colombia by the Garcia Duran family. From the year 2011, Mr Joaquín Díaz Galvis along with his family, continues to maintain the tradition and quality of the product he used the mature grains as raw material, which are cultivated under the native trees of the Andean mountains in America. He puts forward his best effort and soul to produce and select each grain which will be transformed from is roots, into a coffee with an aroma and taste, characteristic of the smoothest Colombian coffee. Always improving to satisfy the most demanding palates, he implements various postharvest processes, this translates into obtaining better taste notes with hints of citrics, chocolate and sugar cane. We also take into account the preservation of the environment always maintaining a natural landscape, oriented to the preservation of our biodiversity. We work with other coffee producers in the region under the same philosophy, we promoting a product for markets that appreciate and value special and differentiated coffees.
