BOOK DONATIONS It has been such an exceptional year with COVID19 causing most of our usual communitybased events to be postponed or cancelled. However, Friends of Library are very pleased to announce that we still welcome the collection of books to be donated. The Les Twentyman Foundation collects school books and novels to donate to children less fortunate. In the past, they could only receive books on the current Australian curriculum, but as of last year, they have found a way to donate any educational books or novels to children in Somalia. This is wonderful news for those children and also a great way for us to clear the decks at home! On the receiving days of Monday 7 December to Wednesday 9 December, please ask your sons’ to drop any surplus books into S201 & S202 between 8.00am to11.00am and 3.00pm to 4.00pm. Many children will silently thank you.
