CGS Cafeteria Dear Parents Thank you for volunteering to help at the Camberwell Grammar School Cafeteria in Term 4, 2020. A special welcome to new volunteers and welcome back to those of you who have volunteered before. The catering company Chartwells, led by David, is running the Cafeteria. Your adjusted hours of duty for Term 4 are 11am-1.30pm. Please sign up for shifts using the volunteer sign up link: volunteersignup.org/FPDK3 If you are available to fill in on short notice, please let me know. The Cafeteria roster is be uploaded on DEEDS and you will also receive a text the week before to remind you of your upcoming duty. If you are unable to attend your shift please notify Karley Knight in the Community and Development Office on 9835 1743 or fog@cgs.vic.edu.au. If you have an issue on the day of your shift, please notify the cafeteria directly on 9835 1724. A day’s notice is preferred. On the day of your cafeteria shift, you may park on school grounds. The closest parking available is via Gate 5, Mont Albert Rd (next to Belmont Park). Follow the driveway down and around the back near the cafeteria/tennis courts. Please sign in at Roystead Reception and sign out when you leave. A face mask must be worn at all times during cafeteria volunteering. When you attend cafeteria duty please wear comfortable clothing and covered non slip flat shoes, please tie long hair back. Please keep jewellery to a minimum. The cafeteria will supply aprons for your shift. The following information is for all new volunteers or any of you who have missed completing a Working with Children Check or the Food and Safety course. Can you please follow the links and complete both of these requirements? A Working with Children Check needs to be completed by all adults involved with the school. As we are volunteers this is a free check. If you do not have a Working with Children Card, you can enrol online via the website www.online.justice.vic.gov.au . Please fill in an application form, print and take to your nearest post office for processing. Two passport-sized photos are required. When you have received the Working with Children Card could you please take it to the Development Office, they will take a photocopy of your card and file this copy. Feel free to scan and email to Karley Knight fog@cgs.vic.edu.au . All volunteers and staff need to complete an online safety course before they attend duty. Please go to the link below and follow the prompts http://dofoodsafely.health.vic.gov.au/ At the end please complete the questionnaire then save the certificate to your computer and email to David in the cafeteria@cgs.vic.edu.au for him to file.
