The Academy of Ancient Music closes a major European tour with a performance of Handel’s Royal Music. Recently proclaimed as ‘one of the world’s great orchestras’, the Academy of Ancient Music recapture the passion and energy of this music when it was first performed. The acclaimed Choir of the Academy of Ancient Music – which won the Beijing Elites Choir of the Year Award in 2009 for a performance of Handel - end the concert with the jubilant ‘Hallelujah’ Chorus from Messiah. Join leading UK orchestra City of London Sinfonia and the Holst Singers for a very English Christmas concert, as they retrace the nativity story through a mixture of well loved carols, readings and the very best in Christmas music from some of our most popular living composers. Seasonal prose from Charles Dickens, John Betjeman and T.S. The Russian State Ballet & Orchestra of Siberia

With plenty of ribbons, romance and rivalry, La Fille Mal Gardée is a gentle tale of love thwarted, unrequited and found and a masterpiece of comedy. Complete with virtuoso pas de deux, maypole and clog dances, this ballet conjures up a world of pastoral simplicity, and is one of the oldest ballets still regularly performed.

When booking a ticket, your details will be held on our database and you will be given the option of being sent both postal and/or email information on future shows both at the Corn Exchange and by other arts promoters that we feel may be of interest to you. Posting tickets

Tickets cannot be exchanged or money refunded, except when an event is postponed or cancelled. Cheque refunds only are issued for postponed or cancelled events.

If you would like your tickets posted to you, there is a £1 administration charge. Please note, tickets for standing gigs will always be held for collection at the Box Office.

The Management reserves the right to refuse admission and to eject patrons from the building. Once a performance has begun, entry may be refused until a suitable break. In the case of lost or stolen tickets for standing events and general admission areas, duplicates cannot be issued.

Collecting tickets

Cambridge Cards with orange, green or yellow stickers are entitled to 25% discount in advance or 50% on the day.

If you would like to collect your tickets from the Box Office, please bring any of the following: your reference number; copy of the confirmation email; bank card; drivers licence or similar.

Cambridge Cards with light blue or purple stickers are entitled to 25% discount on the day.
