We will take a look at district systems, department structures and functions, school-based systems and protocols, parent and community engagement, safety, and the student achievement results. Wewillprovideadditionalopportunitiestoworkwithinternal and external stakeholders as we create our Strategic Plan and necessarycorrectiveactionplans.

Phase3

Equip&Act

We will execute plans that consist of relevant, high quality professional learning, detailed expectations of implementing our vision and a clear progress monitoring process for accountability. We will work with our Board of Education to finalize our new 20242027StrategicPlan.ThisworkwillbeacollaborationwithourBoard ofEducation,students,staff,families,andcommunity.

Host community listening sessions across each Board district along with the representing BoardMember Bepresentinschoolsandthecommunity

Holdafter-schoollisteningsessionsateachschoolwithschool-basedfacultyandstaff

MeetindividuallywiththeDistrictLeadershipTeamandschoolprincipals

Hold focus groups with critical stakeholders, including parents, students, teachers, educationalpartners,andcommunityleaders

Reviewdatatodeterminetheeffectivenessofdistrictgoals,programs,andinitiatives. ReviewstudentachievementdatawiththeDistrictLeadershipTeamandprincipals. Reviewandevaluatetheeffectivenessofprogressmonitoringtoolsforstudentlearning outcomes.

Review all critical documents, including Board policies, the Strategic Plan, organizational charts, employee handbooks, the Student Progression Plan, and the Code of Student Conduct.

Analyzefinancialdataandreviewlong-rangefinancialprojections. Reviewrecruitmentandretentionstrategies.

Review and evaluate professional learning opportunities provided to district teachers, leaders,andstaff.

Createaworkenvironmentwhereallemployeesarevaluedandappreciated. Take all needed steps to create and foster a safe learning environment that includes leveraging community partners to support the social, emotional and mental health of studentsandstaff

Continue utilizing a Multitiered System of Supports for At-Risk, English Language Learners, Economically Disadvantaged, Regular Education, and Special Education to provide remediation,accelerationandenrichment

Enhance the experiences of our students by providing relevant, engaging & meaningful extracurricularandco-curricularactivities
