Explorer’s Grant
Explorer’s Grant CameraPro is launching The Explorer's Grant to aid Australian Storytellers in gaining exposure and support for their cause through photography and videography. The project can last up to 6 months with a focus on local communities, business or entrepreneurs making an positive, social or environmental impact in their communities. Applications for funding small and large are welcomed, we know that sometimes it only takes a little funding to help achieve a lot. We are looking for creativity that has impact and a strong reach.
Explorer’s Grant The Brief
The cause A focus on rural communities, businesses or entrepreneurs making a positive, social or environmental impact locally or globally.
The angle It’s about providing both financial support and exposure to a project. We are not only wanting to support the cause, but also give the financial backing to document the story.
The format Video and photography to document the story, providing context and displaying the impact in the community.
Explorer’s Grant Project Criteria

Remoteness The project must involve traveling and working with a relatively unknown community.
Impact The project must showcase the problem being faced and recommend a use for the available funds.
Funding • $10,000 in total for travel and production • $10,000 in total for the cause • $5,000 in total partnership and promotion
