OAKMONT WOMEN’S CLUB GOOD WOMEN. GOOD FRIENDS. GOOD DEEDS. FEBRURARY 2014 Love was in the air as our group members braved the weather to arrive early, with cookies in hand, and ready to help prepare Valentine’s Day baskets. The baskets were beautiful and prepared in time to hand out to our local firemen, police department, and City employees scheduled to attend later in the meeting. Not only did our guests arrive to accept our gifts of appreciation, the representatives of each department had interesting bits of information to share about our community. Look for these tidbits of information on a separate page in this newsletter. The most intriguing involved the changes coming to Debra Walthall, Chief of Police, pictured left Rachel Roberts, Officer, pictured right The group was literally thrilled when we learned that Officer Rachel Roberts, pictured above, not only lives in Oakmont, she is an OWC member! She moved here from New Hampshire last year and settled in Oakmont. She joined the group soon after but has been unable to attend a group meeting. This
