CAMO : like camouflage , it's a project by Stefano Ughetti. The purpose is not to dress people, but to put them in touch with what they wear.
BIOGRAPHY
Stefano Ughetti was born on 11th July 1974 in Biella. In 1995 he starts his career working in an Interior Design Company “Arazzo s.n.c.”. From 2000 to 2004 he works for Viceversa-Design Edition S.p.a, a home design company. In 2005 he found Superstar: a menswear concept store in Biella in Via Italia 82. Since 2007 he is Designer and Creator of “CAMO”. The first collection was presented in july 2007 in Berlin Est during the Ideal Fair. In 2008 he took part to Bread&Butter in Barcelona. In january 2009 he won the competition “Lounge Fast” organized by “Who's Next” in Paris where he presented the “Waves Collection”. In june 2009 the collection S/S 10 “Horses” is presented at Pitti Uomo in the “New Beats” area and, later, january 2010, the “Circus Collection”. In february 2010 is picked to partecipate to a project created by Cittadellarte Fashion BEST (Bio Ethical Sustainable Trend) to create and developed a “Capsule” collection. This project was celebrated in september 2010 with a special performance/fashion show at the Stein Gallery in Milan. In the same year, june 2010, with the “Country Collection” he is one of the four finalists for the “Who is on Next” organized by Pitti Immagine Uomo, Alta Roma and L'Uomo Vogue. In 2011 other two collections was presented, the F/W11 “Soul collection” and S/S12 “River collection”, with them a special performances during last editions Pitti Uomo 79 and 80, later named by Pitti Immagine “Alternative Set”. In Paris, for the presentation of the summer collection “River”, was introduced the new exposition at the Gallery “Luc Berthier” in Rue Sainte Anastase, 5 into Le Marais. In January 2012 the Casinò Collection was presented at the gallery during a performance where in the spirit of the collection is represented through a real poker match. Since 1st march 2013 the new sowroom “PRIMO PIANO” is launched in Milan in Via Pacini, 13. In the same year, in july, CAMO took part to its first defilè during the edition Riccione Moda Italia and soon after again during Onstage events organized in September and October by Milano Unica in Milan and Shanghai. In january 2013 CAMO was selected by Angelo Flaccavento for the project “The Corner – Vestirsi da Uomo” during Pitti Immagine 83 that aims to create a unique wardrobe composed of must-have items for the contemporay man. In October 2013 Stefano Ughetti designed the ceremonial costume for the Mongolian National Team at Sochi 2014 Olympic Games.

Camo Rally Collection FW13 is inspired by the famous race happened in Biella and called “Rally della Lana�. The competition was born in 1973. People, as racing cars drivers, never know what will happen on the next step, so they have to decide following their own instinct. The collection takes inspiration from the '80s which were the years when actually this races took place. Our advice is: follow your instinct.

The new summer collection is inspired by the Burcina garden, located on the hill of Pollone, in the province of Biella. The garden, understood as a metaphor of life, requires care and dedication. Only in this way it is possible to preserve and maintain one's own unchanged charm.
