Cremorne saw an 11% growth across all apartment and townhouses this quarter, with three bedroom apartments showing a 19% increase in prices when compared to the third quarter. One bedroom prices saw almost no variation from the previous quarter, despite there being less properties offered. Two bedroom apartments saw a 12% drop in the average price for the quarter. Interestingly, the Lower North Shore as a whole had substantial growth of 11% compared to the overall decrease of 0.3% in the greater Sydney area for apartments, which is a great indication for the New Year that the Lower North Shore will continue to perform. In the fourth quarter of 2015 (October to December), there were a total of 54 apartments/townhouses sold in Cremorne, with an average selling price of $1,063,440. When you compare it to the third quarter of 2015, which had an average selling price of $945,212, this indicates a marked increase of $118,228. The New Year brings new opportunities and new resolutions for many in the property market. The Lower North Shore and our office are still experiencing consistently good clearance rates and strong buyer demand.
