Mosman saw significant growth in the last quarter of 2015, with 3 bedroom apartments showing particularly strong growth with a whopping 34% increase in prices when compared to the third quarter. Interestingly, both 1 and 2 bedroom prices saw almost no variation from the previous quarter, which are good indicators that the local property market is stabilising. What is yet to be determined is whether or not this calmer, consistent trading will continue through into the summer selling quarter (January to March), which are notoriously active months. In the fourth quarter of 2015 (October to December), there were a total of 75 apartments/townhouses sold in Mosman, with an average selling price of $1,166,446. When you compare it to the third quarter of 2015, which had an average selling price of $1,006,984, this indicates a sizable increase of $159,462. The New Year brings new opportunities and new resolutions for many in the property market. The Lower North Shore and our office are still experiencing consistently good clearance rates and strong buyer demand.
