Under the direction of our Creative Director, Peter C. Cilio, Campania employs a talented group of artists to create original designs that blend classic old world traditions with a uniquely American sensibility. Quality
All of the materials used in Campania products are tested for stability, durability and freeze-thaw to ensure that they are appropriate for commercial installations. Additionally, we routinely inspect our products throughout our manufacturing process.
Tools
Campania’s Project Division offers landscape and design professionals online access to architectural tools, CAD downloads, spec sheets, and product photos to assist our designers with their specifications. We also offer the ability to render and create custom designs.

The art of craftsmanship—
In its early years, Campania’s designs, under the artistic direction of Peter Cilio Sr., were based on traditional European precedents. In time, however, under the creative direction of Peter C. Cilio, Campania looked beyond classic old world traditions and created new and original designs, both traditional and contemporary which demonstrate a uniquely American perspective.
With Campania’s in-house design team and worldwide sourcing network, Campania offers its customers one of the industry’s most extensive selections of fine quality planters and garden accessories. Campania’s many years of technical expertise and innovation in a wide range of materials and products makes Campania an invaluable resource for its project customers.

Durable Fiberglass Lite® planters are rated for both indoor and outdoor use and frequently specified for rooftops and terraces, hospitality projects, public space installations and restaurants.

Fiberglass Lite ®
Campania’s Fiberglass, branded as Lite®, is a composite material consisting primarily of fiberglass, sand, stone powder and polyester resin. Our fiberglass (aka fiber reinforced polymer (FRP)) meets the strength and durability standards for commercial use. Most of our Lite® planters are reinforced with internal ribbing for additional strength. Material safety and testing data are available upon request. Lite® is manufactured and imported from our partner factory in Vietnam.
• Rated for both indoor and outdoor use and frequently specified for rooftops and terraces, hospitality projects, public space installations and restaurants.
• Offered in multiple textures: Standard, Concrete, Premium, Taos and Ribbed.
• Withstands UV exposure and extreme temperatures, from high heat to frost, and tolerates seasonal thaw cycles.
• Lightweight products are easier to handle on the job.
• Because our Lite® planters are waterproof, there is no need for a plastic liner.
• Equipped with drainage holes and raised integral pot feet to allow for drainage.
• Larger planters have reinforced sides which add extra strength to the fiberglass body.
Although we offer quick turnaround of our stocked product, these shapes, finishes, or sizes may not always be right for every job. For these special projects, Campania has the capability to produce custom shapes, sizes, and colors in our Vietnamese factory. Call our Project Team for details.

In-Line Saucers
For our most popular square and rectangular planters, we have developed an in-line saucer which maintains the clean lines of the planter’s profile. In-line saucers are designed with integral “pot feet” which will raise the planter above the base of the saucer. This system provides clean drainage of the planter if used outdoors.

Cast Stone
Campania proudly manufactures its cast stone products in the USA using locally sourced materials. All of our cast stone pieces are produced using a wet casting technique and a proprietary mix consisting primarily of cement, stone aggregate, sand and water. This mix yields durable cast stone products with a high compressive strength of over 7,500 psi. Because our cast stone is naturally sourced and 100% recyclable, it may qualify for LEED credits as applicable to your project.

Cast Stone Patinas
Our cast stone products are available in a choice of fifteen (15) exclusive natural pigment stains in addition to natural concrete. All of our patinas are hand-applied in a multi-step process producing uniquely beautiful results. Designed to replicate the look of naturally aged materials, our patinas will complement the natural aging process that occurs in an outdoor environment.
Like stains for wood, each piece will accept our patinas in varying degrees of intensity, creating natural variations that add character and distinction. Even when applied with the same process, no two pieces will look exactly alike. Rather than creating uniformity, our artisanal application technique gives our products their unique beauty and appeal.

Campania’s design.urb planters are designed for professionalquality landscape installations with materials proven to last. All are expertly crafted in the U.S. using only the highest quality commercial grade concrete. At over 7,500 psi, these planters are appropriate for high traffic public spaces and pedestrian safety applications. GFRC
Campania’s GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) is a Portland Cement based composite material. The fibers serve as reinforcement to enhance the concrete’s flexural, tensile, and impact strength. GFRC replicates the look and feel of cast stone at a significantly lighter weight. Our GFRC is manufactured using a spray up technique which creates a wall thickness of approximately ½" (tolerance +/- 1/8"). Campania’s GFRC is a lightweight frost proof material that meets the durability standards for commercial use. GFRC is manufactured and imported from our partner factory in the Philippines.

Fiber Cement
The clean and simple lines of Campania’s Fiber Cement planters provide a distinctly modern sensibility and appeal. These planters are made using a cement and fiberglass mat. The fiberglass mat replaces the stone aggregate traditionally used in cast stone creating a planter that is about 25% lighter.
• Appropriate for indoor or outdoor use in medium-low traffic areas, patios, terraces and gardens.

Campania’s glazed and terra cotta planters are high-fired at temperatures between 990-1000 degrees centigrade to ensure frost resistance and durability. For quality control, these natural clay planters are rigorously tested in freeze-thaw conditions. The artisanal process and traditional kilns used to manufacture our handmade and hand-glazed containers create planters of unique beauty and character. This traditional craftsmanship offers a rich variety of textures, colors and finishes which will enhance any contemporary or traditional design project.

Inspired by the haunting beauty and weathered pigments found along ancient Roman alleyways or “vicoli”, Campania’s Vicolo collection perfectly embodies the design philosophy of wabi-sabi, which finds beauty in imperfection and authenticity.
Sandblasted
Traditional terra cotta planters are given added textural interest with a sandblasting technique. Color tones range from buff to burnt sienna.
Asian Earthenware
Traditionally used for domestic pottery including large water storage vessels, the dark brown clay of Asian Earthenware is fired at a high temperature which creates its distinctive rich brown color.
Metal
Campania offers a curated selection of lightweight steel and zinc planters sized for commercial projects.
Our lightweight steel planters are made of 1.2 mm thick steel sheets. The natural oxidation of the surface is chemically accelerated until a rust coloration similar to corten steel is achieved. The surface patina is then stabilized and a chemical sealer is applied to prevent further oxidation.
Campania’s zinc planters are handcrafted in Europe. These planters are fire galvanized by dipping them in a hot zinc bath to protect the steel from rust. These planters will weather naturally into a beautiful blue-grey zinc patina.

Product Care
Always place any Campania product on a solid level surface. Proper winter care is recommended for all Campania products for protection in environments with potential freeze-thaw cycles.

Lead Time
Campania stocks over 2,500 products in its 250,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Pennsburg, Pennsylvania. Because of Campania’s extensive inventory, we have the ability to fulfill project orders quickly. While lead times may vary depending on the product and quantity, Campania generally offers shorter than average lead times on in-stock products.
CAST STONE: Campania’s cast stone products are produced and stocked in natural concrete and stained to order. Allow up to 14 days for shipment of in-stock cast stone items. Large quantity orders may require additional lead time for supplemental production and will vary by item. We are happy to expedite your shipments to the best of our abilities.
IMPORTS: Campania’s imported product is stocked in our Pennsburg, PA warehouse. In-stock imported items can ship as soon as the next business day. Allow up to 14 days for shipment of in-stock import items. Our warehouse inventory is continually being replenished and availability of out of stock items will vary. Custom products will require additional lead time depending on the specifics of the material, quantities and design.
DELIVERY: The majority of Campania products ship palletized FOB Pennsburg, PA using common LTL carriers.
