Saturday, September. 15th 10:00 am - 2018 Spirit Fest Opens 10:00 am - Hett Art Gallery and Museum Lecture (Free) The Ica Stones, presented by Karen Martin. Karen will share her own experiences about the Stones. This lecture will provide an interactive opportunity and detailed discussion of the symbols and theories surrounding the Stones. 11:00 am - Chapel Lecture (Free) Seeking Spirit in the World (a guide to intentional/spiritual travel), presented by Evans Bowen. A tradition of all religions, Pilgrimage is a journey to sacred sites a an act of devotion and dedication It is time to expand the definition of Pilgrimage to inform modern life 12:00 pm - Chapel Lecture (Free) The Power of 1(0), A Spiritualist’s Guide to Living the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule in Modern Times, presented by Denise Alexander. The lecture will discuss the content of my book and how we all can change the world by understanding the many levels in which adherence to the Ten Commandments is really about how we choose light over darkness on a day to day basis. 1:00 pm - Guided Walking Tour (Free) Guided Walking Tour, presented by Lora Dingledine and Michelle Oyler. Meet outside of the Chapel to take a guided tour of the grounds of Camp Chesterfield. Learn more about all the sacred sites. 1:00 pm - Chapel Lecture (Free) Working with Nature, presented by Carole Stamm. The lecture explores working with elements. It includes the importance of nature as a healing force, working with water, crystals, plants and animals 2:00 pm - Chapel From Fear to Faith, presented by Celia Filla. Using hand gestures in connecting the elements as represented in the fingers and thumb, Fire, Earth, Water, Air and Ether, to harmonize oneself. 4:00 pm - Chapel Lecture (Free) The Ancient Art of Henna, presented by Lorry Pearson. During this lecture I will discuss what henna is and where it grows, the history of henna and how it works on the skin. I will show how to draw and transfer the images onto the skin. 5:00 pm - Chapel Lecture (Free) Astrology, A Spiritual Practice, presented by Rev. William Duvendack. In this presentation we will discuss some different ways to use astrology to further your spiritual growth, focusing on lunar cycles and spirit guide contact. 1800s Great Lakes Native American Fur Trading Post As part of our Native American display, Johnny Two Buckets of the Iroquois Nation, will build an 1800’s Great Lakes Native American fur trading post. Several topics will be discussed as well as a look at a few essential oils and their common uses. 12:00 pm - Chapel Lecture (Free) Channeling Ascended Masters and Arch Angels presented by Adrianna Rochelle. Learn how I use the Sacred Triad with the Ascended Masters and the Arch Angels for healing and soul level work. Channeling the Ascended Masters is a birthright for those of us incarnated on this planet.
