All events, dates, and times are subject to change. About the cover-There are many former residents of Camp Chesterfield, who have made a profound impact on the world we live. One such resident and former Secretary of the Board of Trustees was Flora Millspaugh (with the number 3 on the photo). Mrs. Millspaugh not only served and resided at Historic Camp Chesterfield, she was also a suffragist and marched as a delegate from Indiana in the 1913 Suffrage Procession in Washington, D.C. the day before the inauguration of President Woodrow Wilson. Organized by Suffragists Alice Paul and Lucy Burns, on behalf of the National American Women’s Suffrage Association, the 1913 procession was an effort to push women’s right to vote more on the national stage. As many Spiritualists during the turn of the 20th century, Flora Millspaugh worked for women to gain the right to vote and is a valuable part of the history of Historic Camp Chesterfield. 2

DECLARATION OF PRINCIPLES
We believe in Infinite Intelligence. We believe that the phenomena of nature, both physical and spiritual, are the expression of Infinite Intelligence. We affirm that a correct understanding of such expression and living in accordance therewith constitute true religion. We affirm that the existence and personal identity of the individual continue after the change called death. We affirm that communication with the so-called dead is a fact, scientifically proven by the phenomena of Spiritualism. We believe that the highest morality is contained in the Golden Rule: “Whatsoever ye would that others should do unto you, do ye also unto them.” We affirm the moral responsibility of the individual, and that we make our own happiness or unhappiness as we obey or disobey nature’s physical and spiritual laws. Spring Beautification Weekend! We are fortunate to have beautiful, sacred grounds as our outdoor sanctuary; a place to retreat and connect with Mother Earth and the Great Spirit. The grounds of Camp Chesterfield have served as a safe haven, a place to recharge, a spiritual home for so many of us. Now we have an opportunity to energetically give and receive as part of two special Beautification Weekends; one in the spring and one in the fall. We will clean flower beds and landscaping, unearth stepping stones, and tend to all that needs loving attention on the grounds. Meals and a room at the Historic Western Hotel will be provided free of charge for all volunteers. Please join us for a healing and energetic recharge as we work with the magical energies of our sacred grounds. Sat 5/14/22 9am - 12:30pm lunch and outdoor service, back to work 2pm - 5pm Sun 5/15/22
