Overview Ancient cultures identified the pineal gland as the “seat of our soul” and “window to the spirit world”. While the physiological function of the pineal gland has largely been unknown until recent times, mystical and esoteric teachings have long know this area in the middle of the brain to be the connecting link between the physical and spiritual worlds. At only the size of a grain of rice, this all-important master endocrine gland is responsible for, and holds the key to, unlocking spiritual and clairvoyant gifts, commonly known as the “Third Eye” or sixth chakra. “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.” (Matthew 6:22) Workshop will include overview of man’s historical and current perception of the pineal gland, discussion on function and role in human physiology, review of every day culprits of glandular calcification and impacts, and finally, techniques and strategies of often practiced to defend and maintain this energy center. Group programming will help awaken and strengthen your pineal gland utilizing exercises with light, sound, meditation, and nutritional options. The class will enable you to make more informed choices for scrubbing, buffing, and maintaining this all-important spiritual antenna.
Jerome J. Joachim has dedicated his adult life to the study of the human energy field and various forms of spiritual and esoteric healing. During his journey, he completed training as a Reiki Master Teacher, and holds certifications in The Integrated Energy Therapy (I.E.T.). Jerome maintains strong interests in metaphysical and spiritual studies since attending Camp Chesterfield in 2008. Beth L. Kiebler has made a lifelong study of pharmacy and pharmacal sciences. After 20+ years in the fields of western medicine, her attention has turned toward natural and homeopathic alternatives. Both workshop leaders are students of Camp Chesterfield and members of the Indiana Association of Spiritualists. Their combined insights will provide a unique and informative look into this master endocrine gland designed to link the physical and spiritual worlds.
