Greenhouse Gas Accounting and Management PRESENTED BY: “Our way of life will change radically, not only over the next 50 years but over the next 10 years. In my mind, those changes are a bigger business opportunity than the Internet ever was.” Stefan Reichenbach on Climate Change
Global Head of Environmental Markets, Thomson Reuters
A survey of more than 700 key international industry professionals, scientists, and organizational leaders from across the globe concluded:
• Greenhouse gas accounting is critical to any climate change response; • There is a shortage of experts who have the skills that are necessary to address climate change, including measuring and mitigating greenhouse gases; • Majority foresee that more "green" jobs will be welcomed in the years to come, and • It is crucial for universities and other educational organizations to provide adequate training for GHG accounting and management skills.
