the shape of purity
Our passion for quality makes us value the matter. In the handcfrafted process of our pieces we always use pure origin materials, like bee wax, wood from American walnut or genuine cow leather. Nature offers us the tools and we provide the talent to create pieces that add value to different spaces and ambiences. We collaborate with great designers. With their talent we give expression to matter, transforming its purity in objects that are part of our lifes.
Is a brave project, and its also the name of brave man. Agripa was a general commander of the roman empire. Like him we would like to command a powerful team of talented creators. Designers that provide their most valueable energy: the talent.
the creative process
AGRIPPA & AGRIPPINA Turn fragility into a virtue and explore the concept of couple as a matter of design. The male/female duality is in its multiple postures. The couple of henchmen ready to take action the highest in the sky, is one of its most inmediate images.
We can see two identical twins with a slight difference in size, that mark their quadruped step with military discipline. Agrippa and Agrippina, two tables ready to walk , flay and make love at any moment.
We take care of every detail in the manufacturing of our pieces. We start from manual carving making the gouge to discover the shapes in the wood till turning matter into object. A carefully crafted process from the carving to the bee wax application as a culmination of pure final finishing of the pieces. Appliyin natural materials to an object wich is kept alive over the time. It will be part of a living space where it starts to have its own meaning.
Pigalle
Parisian district of Pigalle is home of to the world’s famous cabaret, the Moulin Rouge. In this mythical place dancers danced and dance Cancán, an acrobatic dance where dancers lifted up their skirts drawing circles with them and move one of their their legs on the beat of the Offenbach’s Galop Infernal music. This image of circles and legs is the leitmotiv of this design. This image’s geometrical simplification and its repetition on a radial basis displays a great visual dynamism and an abstract representation of the movement. Pigalle is dance, joy and above all a nimble methafor of the dance.
Salma
Salma is sensuality carved in wood, like a gust of wind or a flowing dance. The design of Salma plays with structure to enhance a sense of movement and redefine the symbiosis between concept and physicality. Salma provokes and invites the senses beyond sight, allowing us to touch and feel the beauty of simplicity through its seductive curves.
Clapton This chair is inspired by tubular metal structures. For get this effect of bent tubes has had to work the wood in a very traditional way. They have also had to resolve several complex structural issues, because wood does not It has the strength of metal. The master lines of this chair are simple and harmonious like those Eric Clapton’s songs is his stage of maturity.
Isadora
The Isadora Lounge Chair features a sculptural solid American walnut frame. The beautiful pitch and the curve back wraps around the body like a glove. The resilient seat gives great support while also keeping maintaining it’s shape with a taut finish. The back has a sculptural shaped support which gives it a beautiful look on all sides.
Swanson The buttoned upholstery has been a thousand times revisited by the world of contemporary design Within this scenario, it is not easy to provide a new vision on this type of pieces. But Swanson does it, and he does it to through simplicity and the combination of materials. This design contains and delimits with mathematical precision the soft forms and of the upholstery, with a wooden profile that is drawing all its contour.
Casiopea The first thing we can appreciate when viewing this mirror is its rounded triangular shape with a tendency to become an ellipse. This concept is repeated on a concentric basis creating an elliptic-kinetic effect that portrays (as an idealized caricature) the kinetics of the stellar orbits. In spite of the apparent bidimensionality of its three rings it is especially interesting the different sections along its profiles, since these vary threedimensionally which enhances the dynamism of its curves. Casiopea, a mirror drawn up with stardust but made of solid wood.
Nadia Inspired by the form and function of organic fractals, the Nadia‘s four symmetrical legs achieve a surprisingly rigid yet light structure. A choice of stone or wooden tops each offer their own tone and style to adorn the table. The adaptability of the design to accommodate custom dimensions without compromising aesthetic or integrity allows Nadia to be either the perfect centerpiece or compliment to any decor.
Atlantis
The entire piece is made from solid wood. The doors are formed from full planks of walnut and the negative portions are cut away to form the beautiful angles. Includes 5 finger pull drawers: 4 small and 1 large; 10 preset storage shelves.
Leonidas
Leonidas is a lattice work that filters the light and sight. This lattice has a triple interpretation: firstly, we have a two-dimensional grid of perfectly aligned round holes, secondly we have a set of reliefs forming squares and circular grooves which integrate with orderly with the holes grid and provide an important three-dimensional factor to the whole; and lastly we have the typical accordion-shaped semi folding of this typology of elements providing an even more interesting volumetric complexity. Leonidas is a modulation game. From a single cell and its Cartesian and simple repetition, he manages to form his own speech. Leonidas is a wall of poetry, a wall of chiaroscuro that articulates space and modulates light.
Love me do
Inspired by the 60’s, this organicshaped mirror is committed to the simplicity of concepts. If we cut its profile we could see a shape similar to a boat viewed from above, and oval with two tips, as an eye. This creates and inner and outer edge. The result of this is a round shaped profile pleasant to touch, but with the nerve and character provided by the edges. The shape is possible too measured to be a boomerang and too daring to be a kidney. This ring plays with the distortion, as an internal fluid moving inside slimming and growing the section, making a shape that transmits for and dynamics. Its main shape, closed and sinuous finds their balance in the conic leg starting from the curves and turning into a kind of defensive appendix. The leg provides stability and the beginning and end inside the curves circuit. Aesthetically it is the guitar riff that complements the melody, an acid and discordant note which converts the receipt in something much more interesting. The frame secures and protects the glass in three points, as internal fingers that serve to secure. "Love Me Do" whispers in our ears this mirror with the soul of a feline the body of a woman.

Texas
Texas is a table with steroids, its legs are joined by a cross, both in the lower part as in the upper part and the section of its extremities is of 12 x12 cm. Another important feature that defines the personality of this Design, is the fact that the structure "traverses" the lid in a unusual, creating a dialogue between materials that goes beyond what conventional. An X in the center of the word A herculean structural outcrop A magical and robust simplicity An X in the center of the design
