CANADIAN COUNTRY-POP DUO BUCKO & TOAD KICK OFF THE NEW YEAR WITH BRAND NEW SINGLE “COUNTRY STRONG” Vancouver husband and wife country-pop duo Bucko & Toad are pleased to announce the release of their brand new single “Country Strong” (604 Records) - available at radio January 4th and digitally via all partners on January 6th. Produced by Tavish Crowe and penned by Crowe and Kenn Coutu, “Country Strong” follows Bucko & Toad’s fun-loving debut “Any Excuse”, the spirited Christmas track “Frozen In Your Eyes” and most recent release “Summer Girl”, an infectious ode to the dog days of summer. “After we released ‘Any excuse’ I had a horrible accident where I cut my hand and I didn’t know if I was ever going to be able to play a guitar again.” shares Kenn. “Kelly and I sat around writing to this track Tavish sent and this is the first song we all wrote after the accident. We called it ‘Country Strong’ because it’s a song about picking yourself back up and carrying on even if you don’t know what the future holds. Sometimes what you need to do is grab that shovel or determination, and dig deep within yourself.” Bucko & Toad are Kenn and Kelly Coutu, a couple both on and off the stage determined to take an upbeat and fresh approach to country music, beginning with their band name. The melding of Kenn (Bucko) and Kelly’s (Toad) respective childhood nicknames, Bucko & Toad was a natural choice as they decided to embark on a musical journey together. Having joined the 604 Records
family (Dallas Smith, Coleman Hell, Marianas Trench, Small Town Pistols, Carly Rae Jepsen) late 2015, Bucko & Toad are all about bringing their own personalities to the forefront when it comes to the song writing process and creating original tracks. The duo recently shot the video for “Country Strong” with multiple award winning director Stephano Barberis. The video - shot in different locations within a rural splendor comprised of foggy forests and mystical country environments will premiere later this month. Michael Painchaud Raised By Wolves Another traditional artist is Michael Painchaud (pronounced pay-show) is a Canadian country music artist with a musical style often described as traditional with a contemporary feel. Influenced by artists from Johnny Cash to George Strait, there is no questioning the fact that he is country, a statement he makes clear in his debut album entitled, Country. Many ask why he named his album after the genre, his simple explanation declaring: “it’s called Country because that’s exactly what it is. It’s
steel guitars and fiddles, the kind of music I was raised on.” Each track on the record was written by Michael, a product of his experiences growing up throughout western Canada, from the windswept prairies to the arid hills of the Okanagan. “Raised By Wolves” is the debut single from COUNTRY. It’s a song that combines traditional Country with contemporary Country for a foot tapping, sing along tune.

Codie Prevost and his wife Ashley are adding to their family: Their second child is due May 2017. The two were married in 2012 and celebrated the birth of their 1st child in November of 2014. On January 1st, Prevost announced the exciting news via his fan mailing list called the Prevost Press. The singer shared a photo with his fans of the couples daughter Lyriq in front of a sign that read: “Someday I’m going to be a ballerina but for now I’m going to be a Big Sister”.
Prevost is best known for his award winning album “All Kinds Of Crazy” and his inspirational music video “Someday” which gives hope to those affected by domestic violence. He’s shared the stage with Florida Georgia Line, The Oak Ridge Boys and Garth Brooks. With baby number 2 on it’s way and the release of his 5th studio album scheduled for 2017 Prevost will be a busy man this year.
Third Child on the Way for Lee Brice The country singer-songwriter and his wife Sara are expecting their third child, they confirm exclusively to People. The new baby will join big brothers Ryker Mobley, 3, and Takoda, 8. “Our whole family is thrilled to welcome our third child,” Brice, 37, tells People. “Takoda and Ryker are so excited and Sara is more beautiful than ever. We can’t wait for our new little one to get here this summer.” Brice wed his longtime love a little over a year after the singer proposed in Key West, Florida. At their wedding in April 2013, their first dance was to his hit song “I Don’t Dance,” which he wrote for his wife.”It’s
the most personal thing I’ve written ever,” Brice previously told People of the song. “It was for my wife for our first dance at our wedding. And it wasn’t even supposed to be really a song on the record. It was nothing about that, it was just for Sara.” Brice takes fatherhood very seriously, writing on his website in 2013, “I can’t stand being away from Takoda. He needs his daddy. I’ve gotten to the point where my family means everything to me.” And despite their growing family, the Grammy-nominated artist always manages to find special time with Sara, 34. “My wife loves to have her feet rubbed,” he told People in 2014. “I do it every single night.”

They not only love their country music they live the country lifestyle whether they live in the country or in the city. We have developed a brand called Go Country. Go Country has a national online radio station that is star driven and music intensive. We are adding new programming each week starting in January including Live At 5 where we have an artist come in and talk about their songs and play a live acoustic song for our audience. Sometimes we have a live audience in a major venue like the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. We are adding our Star Story where we tease the listener and get them to guess who we are talkingabout for two minutes until we reveal who the star is. We have specials we will be running and we will run a Sunday morning legends show. On Saturday nights we will air our Saturday Night Party which is upbeat and full of stars drop by and talk about their hits. Since December 1st we have been running Christmas music 24/7 and we will run this until Christmas Day. The week between Christmas and New Years we will air our year end refection show.
