MEET ANDIE DUQUETTE Quebec is becoming a hot bed for country music. All major artists are adding Quebec dates to their schedule and selling out. Let us introduce you to Andie Duquette. Andie has a bright future in country music and Wrong Wrong Wrong is a sure fire hit. Andie Duquette is a Canadian country singer from Montreal, Quebec, signed to TAB Records INC. She’s been known to favor a dab of “edge” in her personal brand of country music, whether we talk about her strong and direct “women first” lyrics to some of her more robust songs on her debut Country album LOCK STOCK AND BARREL, due out later this year. You’ll find Andie to be somewhere between Shania Twain and Miranda Lambert but there’s no mistaking it: this country girl is definitely a bit rock’n roll and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Andie’s career started at the very young age of three. Her parents were quite astonished when, at age five, Sesame Street hired Andie to sing their full repertoire for the French adaptation of this iconic TV show for Quebec audiences. Andie continued to sing and perform at a high level as a child for years and was given a number of roles on TV commercials and TV series. Andie subsequently went on to study vocal training with some of the best in Montreal in order to really master her abilities as a singer and she immersed herself for a few years in strict technique. Growing up in the city she was initially a big fan of Classic Rock and strong female artists like Heart, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett but was immediately taken when she first heard Shania Twain’s voice one day on the radio - and that was all it took! Now, Andie is looking up to her peers such as Miranda Lambert and so many of those who have dominated the Country Music Charts and are opening the door for girls like her. Notwithstanding her young age, Andie has already toured extensively across the world including Canada, Europe, the US, Mexico, China and the Domin-
ican Republic. She has just returned from a 40 day tour in Switzerland in order to continue building up her level of experience so that she can always perform at her highest level, something Andie is already quite spectacular at - just ask any fans that have been to her concerts. In 2013 Andie was a contestant of the hit TV show “La Voix”, Quebec’s version of “The Voice”, where she was a strong semi-finalist. It was this experience which catapulted her to the next level of her career when Canadian Producer Tino Izzo (Celine Dion, Bobby Bazini, The Wilkinson’s, Roch Voisine, Garou, Jacynthe, Yuna Ito, Saya…to name a few) first saw her and asked to work with her. Tino and Andie started working together in 2014, putting in countless hours since and working hard to develop something distinct, something totally Canadian, and something they feel absolutely committed to. Andie, in the meantime, released her 1st solo French album in her native Quebec in 2015 where she was extremely well received. She earned three monster Top Ten BDS singles with one topping at #1 BDS on mainstream radio for many weeks which was followed with an extensive tour in 2016. And now, as they put the final touches on her first solo Country album and national tour, scheduled for the spring of 2017, Andie is ready to pave the way with her debut single out March 20th entitled ‘WRONG WRONG WRONG’. ANDIE DUQUETTE ~ 100% CANADIAN! LOCK STOCK AND BARREL...Mamma warned me there’d be boys like you...Deep deep trouble in them eyes so blue...Party animal, monster trucks, you pushed my buttons and I tried my luck...Hell it ain’t no picnic but it suits me fine...You ain’t Keith Urban...But you’re mine all mine…

MUSIC STARS TOBY KEITH, ALABAMA & BILLY GIBBONS OF ZZ TOP ADDED TO ALL-STAR CONCERT CELEBRATION HONORING MERLE HAGGARD Music stars Toby Keith, Alabama & Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top have been added to the all-star lineup at Sing Me Back Home: The Music Of Merle Haggard, previously reported by The Tennessean. The event is an all-star concert event taping at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. CT in honor of what would have been Merle’s 80th birthday and the one-year anniversary of his passing. This one-night-only concert event taping will bring together fans, friends, and music icons to honor the life and songs of music legend Merle Haggard. The new additions to the lineup join previously announced performing artists Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, John Mellencamp, Dierks Bentley, Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams Jr., The Avett Brothers, Alison Krauss, Ronnie Dunn, Warren Haynes, Jamey Johnson, Kacey Musgraves, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lucinda Williams, Ben Haggard, John Anderson, Connie Smith and Bobby Bare. Additional performers to be announced in the coming weeks. In a career that spanned more than 50 years, Merle Haggard racked up an astounding 38 No. 1 country hits and every major award imaginable. Songs like “Mama Tried,” “Okie From Muskogee,” “I’m a Lonesome Fugitive” and “The Fightin’ Side Of Me” continue to inspire new generations of artists and fans alike, and as we approach what would have been a major
milestone, the time has come to celebrate his truly remarkable career. He was an iconoclast who refused to bend to country music convention and helped create the indelible Bakersfield sound. He gave voice to outlaws and outsiders and in a way that few, if any, have ever equaled. Keith Wortman, Mark Rothbaum and Theresa Haggard are the creators and executive producers of the show. Don Was, Ben Haggard and Buddy Cannon will serve as music directors, and preside over a stellar house band backing the performers at this historic concert event taping. The event will be filmed and recorded for multi-platform distribution throughout traditional media (worldwide broadcast, music, and digital). A portion of the proceeds will benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation. “I am so very thankful for this tribute to my husband, Merle Haggard. Please come join me and my family at this fantastic show that Merle would be so proud of,” said Theresa Haggard. “I am honored to produce a show that celebrates the life and music of Merle Haggard,” says Wortman. “His music and lyrics continue to shape the lives of musicians and millions of fans. I can’t think of any better way to celebrate his 80th birthday than to honor his legacy with this extraordinary event. It’s going to be an unforgettable evening
Watch Rascal Flatts Flip Some Burgers in ‘Yours If You Want It’ Video Premiere There can never be too many cooks in the kitchen... at least when it comes to Rascal Flatts’ new music video for “Yours If You Want It,” that is!
we’re shooting videos. So, this just seemed like the perfect treatment and the perfect opportunity for our personalities to shine a little bit.”
Debuting exclusively on PEOPLE. com, the video for one of the fastest moving singles on country radio charts showcases the band as the staff at the Hermitage Cafe in Nashville. The guys are joined by the original Buffy The Vampire Slayer actress Kristy Swanson and actor Kevin Farley, who bring the song to life through an idyllic, yet imaginary, fairy tale love story. “I called [director] Billy Zabka because we’d had such a great experience with him doing the ‘Why Wait’ video,” Jay DeMarcus tells PEOPLE.
Despite long hours and a rain delay, DeMarcus, Gary LeVox and Joe Don Rooney recall a passion and energy on set that comes with working with the best in the industry.
“And so I presented this song to him and wanted to see what he thought might work for it. Sure enough, he came back and it was phenomenal; the guys loved it immediately and you know, the three of us are such jokesters anyway that we like to have fun when
“The worst part of the shoot was that I got greasy flipping those burgers!” LeVox jokes. “The best part of the shoot was working with Kevin Farley and Kristy Swanson and having our good friend Billy Zabka shoot the video. We loved the treatment and bringing it all the way back to the Hermitage Cafe, where we had our first ever photo shoot, so that was definitely a full circle moment.” These artists spent a pretty penny on their videos. The trio’s new album, Back to Us,
hits stores on May 19 and promises to be a return to the vocals that made the band famous in the first place. “It’s a familiar Rascal Flatts sound, but different with the song quality,” explains LeVox. “I think it’s the best stuff we’ve ever done and collectively we’ve got more singles on the record than we’ll ever be able to get to. It was awesome to make and we took our time with it and just had a ball. “The name of the album Back to Us kind of ties in to how we’ve gone back and really put our vocals at the forefront and had those pave the road for us.” Click on the picture below to see the Behind The Scenes footage.
