Member organizations will have password-protected access to canadashistory.ca, which will allow you to edit your business information, upload logos and pictures, add links to your social media feeds, and post unlimited numbers of events, admission offers, discounts, job postings, and internship opportunities.

Canada’s HIstory Awards Canada’s History Awards are this country’s top history honours recognizing achievement among historians, educators, writers, and community leaders. The awards event garners national media attention with an estimated audience reach of four million. The 15 awards presented at Rideau Hall include:

Books and Special-Issues Kayak: Canada’s History for Kids Our award-winning magazine aimed at children ages 7 – 12 tells the story of Canada’s history in an interesting and entertaining fashion that children can understand and relate to. With illustrated feature stories, and comics, plus games, jokes, and puzzles, Kayak magazine is popular with parents and teachers alike.
Canada’s History produced the 2009 Canadian best-seller 100 Photos that Changed Canada. Fall 2011 will see the release of our follow-up title 100 Days that Changed Canada. We also release special-interest editions of Canada’s History magazine on a regular basis. From “Quebec at 400” to “100 Years of Flight” to “Top 10 Historic Sites,” these books and specialissues garner additional media exposure, which results in increased website traffic, benefitting your organization when your ad is featured on our site.
Heritage Fairs This cross-Canada program encourages students to use the medium of their choice to tell stories about Canadian history and to present the results of their research at a public exhibition. Certificates and awards provide valuable recognition and incentive for their efforts.
