Leveldale Polled Herefords/Leveldale Cattle Co. It is with great pride that we welcome you to the 1st Annual Elite Genetics Bull Sale. It is a sale that has been 40 plus years in the making and we are honored to have our dear friends, the Kopeechuk family, begin this journey with us. This fall will be our 3rd Annual Elite Genetics Female Sale and felt it fitting to continue with this prestigious name. When I think of the words, Elite Genetics, I think of my grandfather Ray Allison. His vision for our herd from day one has focused on longevity. Our females have some of the highest maternal traits in all of Canada with many being trait leaders. The bulls produced from these females represent this longevity trait and will become a stronghold in your operation. At Leveldale we are VERY critical on what type of females make it to the replacement pen. Udder quality, foot and leg structure, do ability, femininity, and docility are just a few of these traits we strive for. Our bull pen this year is by far our most impressive set to date. The bulls are feed a ¾ rolled oat and a ¼ bull developer pellet throughout the summer months. After weaning and throughout the winter the bull developer pellet is gradually increased till sale time along with free choice hay. We DO NOT condone over fed fat sale cattle. Our bulls are developed with that key word always in mind, Longevity, and you will see this on March 14th. The sires to these bulls have added calving ease, volume, tremendous rib, great foot and bone structure, color pattern, and loads of muscle and eye appeal. You will see many of our bulls on offer trace back to the Great Leveldale Miss Varsity Vic 26D & McCoy Connie 131N. We have kept countless daughters and sires off of these great females and there are many working in herds across North America today. This event has been many years in the making and developed through a strong friendship and love for Hereford cattle. The “Elite Genetics” brand is a name synonymous with the RSK/Leveldale relationship. At RSK Farms, we have selected the finest of our operation and offered up a set of bulls which have excelled in performance, muscle and growth. Combined with caving ease and improved carcass traits these bulls are designed to limit inputs and be profitable. The highlights of the RSK Bull Offering are the RSK 719T Freestyle 4Z sons. His progeny exhibit calving ease with tremendous growth and muscle pattern and are very consistent and have exceeded our expectations. You will also notice that many of the bulls in the offering are in the top percentiles for multiple traits including calving ease, performance and carcass. All our bulls are carcass ultrasounded (CUP), semen evaluated, performance tested and extremely docile. All bulls have been on a strict health program including: Covexin Plus, Pyramid FP5 with presponse and Ivomec. They have been fed on a 12% Beef Grower Bull Ration from Masterfeeds and free choice grass hay. As always feel free to view videos online at www.rskfarms.ca. The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sales location, unless satisfactory credit or invoicing arrangements have been made prior to the sale. The right of property shall not pass until settlement has been made.

Announcements:

Announcements from the auctioneer will take precedence over any material printed in this catalogue.

Registration & Transfer:

A registration certificate of the animal will be duly transferred to the purchaser.

Liability:

The owners, their employees, sale staff, and representatives accept no liability for accidents that may occur. Persons who attend do so at their own risk.

LPH/RSK Bull Warranty:

LPH/RSK guarantees to sell you a bull that has passed a semen test performed by a licensed veterinarian. Should a LPH/RSK bull fail to be a satisfactory breeder that is unable to physically breed a cow or heifer, a credit will be given towards the purchase of another bull. We guarantee to provide you with a sound breeding bull, but will not provide replacement or credit for physical injury or mismanagement. Bearing this in mind, we strongly advise you to insure your bull. All problems must be reported to LPH/RSK in writing. The bull must be returned to LPH/RSK immediately when the problem is detected, at the buyer’s expense. LPH/RSK will have the bull examined by a veterinarian, and will have 60 days to prove the bull a breeder. If the bull does not prove to be a breeder, the buyer will be entitled to a complete refund of the purchase price of the bull in question. Should the bull prove to be a breeder, he will be returned to the buyer at LPH/RSK expense, and the matter will be considered closed. In the case of losses, LPH/RSK will only be responsible for the original purchase price of the animal. We assume no liability, legal or otherwise, to make any compensation to the buyer. LPH/RSK reserves the right to in-herd semen use on any bull sold in the sale, with semen drawn at LPH/RSK expense, and the buyer’s convenience.

Wintering:

Buyers choosing to have their bulls come back to LPH/RSK will be charged $3.00 per day beginning April 14th.We recommend that you purchase insurance on your bull if returning to LPH/RSK.

Delivery:

LPH/RSK will offer free delivery on all bulls up to a 200km radius, additional mileage rates will apply after 200kms at cost. If bulls are picked up on sale day, the buyer will receive a $50.00 credit of their purchase.

USA Delivery:

All bulls sold to the US will be charged an additional $300.00 and will be sent south using a Reputable trucking agent. The buyer will be responsible for all costs south of the Canada/US border.
