don FergusonFerguson Stock Farm

January 24, 1947 - August 11, 2021

On August 11, 2021 Don Ferguson passed away at the Battleford District Care Center. Don was a staple at Hill 70 Quantock bull sales since they began in the early 1970’s and had a keen love for anything to do with Ranching and the Western way of life. Ferguson Stock Farm is nestled on the North shore of the Battle River Southeast of the Town of Paynton, Saskatchewan. For many years Don and Marie raised their children, good border collies, good horses and good red baldy cows. We now know those sandy hills as the “East Ranch” and would like to again thank Don and Marie for the opportunity to work with them for the past 50 years supplying bulls; as well as, the opportunity to purchase the ranch in 2017.
