STATEMENT REGARDING COVID-19

Dear Centennial Place Community,

It is hard to believe we have weathered three years with COVID-19 on the global stage. At Centennial Place, our first priority has been and continues to be the health and safety of our residents, staff members and College partners. We remain apprised of the Ontario Ministry of Health and World Health Organization’s guidance regardingCOVID-19, and communicate withtheappropriatehealth units to ensure effective Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) measures are in place to support all members of our community.

Although we cautiously enter the Fall of 2022 with eagerness and excitement at the possibility of a complete resumption of ‘normal activity,’ we remain committed to compliance with Centennial College’s Phased Re-Opening Strategy, and the possibility of regressionshould afuture wave impact ourabilitiesto continue safe and secure operation of all regular services.

At this time, Centennial Place Management is operating with the expectation that all community members take personal responsibilityfortheir ownhealth,andmaintainproperhygieneand safety precautions as required by the College and/or local health units or government mandates. This includes the requirement of all Centennial Place residents to adhere to the Personal Responsibility Acknowledgement (PRA) outlined in the following pages while living at Centennial Place.

Weotherwisepledgetoputthehealthandwellbeingofourresidents and team members first on a daily basis. We are grateful for your patience and understanding as we continue to support each other more than ever before and manage the community-effort at keeping COVID-19 at bay.
