Parkside Pulse - October Newsletter

Dear Residents,

As we dive into October, get ready for a month brimming with excitement. Halloween is just around the corner, and we’ve lined up some fantastic activities to make it a memorable one for our community. From spooky decorations to a costume contest, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Keep an eye out for announcements about these events in our community spaces.

In the midst of the festive buzz, it’s crucial to remember to take a moment for yourself. October can be a busy month with midterms looming, so we encourage each of you to prioritize self-care. Whether it’s a quiet evening with a good book, a walk in the crisp autumn air, or simply enjoying a cup of your favorite warm beverage, make sure to carve out time for relaxation.

Speaking of well-being, mark your calendars for our annual Thrive Mental Health Week, taking place during the second week of October. It’s an opportunity for us to come together as a community and engage in activities that promote mental wellness. Stay tuned for the schedule of events, and we hope to see you there!

Now, a friendly reminder to keep our community spaces tidy. When using the cafeteria, please be sure to return plates to the dish pit and dispose of garbage in the designated bins in amenity spaces. Keeping our community clean is everyone’s responsibility, and your efforts make a big difference.

As we gear up for midterms, we want to wish each and every one of you the very best. Remember, you’ve got this! Reach out to your community Assistant if you need support or just a friendly chat. We’re all in this together.

Here’s to a fantastic October filled with self-care, and success in all your endeavors.

Best,

Daniel Travieso
