Notes: Ore from Lac des Iles Mine is shipped to Vale’s Sudbury Operations for refining. North American Palladium, including Lac des Iles mine, was acquired by Impala Platinum Holdings (Implats) in a $930-million deal that closed Dec. 13, 2019. The mine is now operated as the Implats subsidiary Impala Canada Ltd. Underground rates at the mine will be ramped up to 12,000 tonnes per day by 2021. In 2019, underground exploration drilling was conducted at C Zone, Offset Satellite (B Zone and Mystery Zone) and Roby-Offset while surface drilling was conducted in the East Mine Block. Near-mine exploration continues at Sunday Lake, with 7,300 metres of drilling conducted in 2019.
