General Information & Conditions The following terms and conditions (‘booking conditions’) form the basis of your contract with Australian Pacific Touring Pty Ltd (‘Travelmarvel ‘we’ or ‘our’). Please read them carefully as they set out your and our respective rights and obligations. By asking us to confirm your booking, we are entitled to assume that you have had the opportunity to read and have read these booking conditions, that you agree to them and that you agree to them applying to your holiday arrangements that you book with us and which we agree to make, provide or perform (as applicable) as part of our contract with you. References in these booking conditions to your ‘holiday package’ are references to the tour package you have booked with Travelmarvel. References to ‘excursions’ are references to short trips or tours included or available as part of your holiday package. PRICES – DEPOSITS – DISCOUNTS – PAYMENTS Your booking price will be set out in this brochure unless it is varied by advertising or a special offer, or is changed after the publication date for any reason, including without limitation, to cover changes in government taxes and charges, exchange rate variations, fuel surcharges, airline charges, a force majeure event or other material increases by suppliers. Once you pay your deposit your holiday package price is guaranteed (except for any changes resulting from a force majeure event – see below). A $200 security deposit per person, per holiday package is required within seven days of booking confirmation. Deposit requirements may vary when booking a special offer. Final payment of the balance of your holiday package price is due 100 days prior to departure unless stated in the terms of a special offer. Travelmarvel reserves the right to cancel any ticket or booking or to refuse to carry any passenger where payment has not been received by Travelmarvel within the specified time. All fares and charges are in Australian currency. Payment in full is required at time of booking for reservations made less than 100 days before departure from Australia. If Travelmarvel is unable to confirm your reservation, all monies will be refunded.
Bookings received within 100 days may incur hotel surcharges which will be passed on. GOVERNING LAW These booking conditions are governed by the law in force in Victoria, Australia. CANCELLATION POLICY For holiday packages in this brochure the following Travelmarvel cancellation fees apply (in addition to charges of any independent suppliers e.g. airlines and hotels): Days of Notice: Fee Per Person 100 days or more Loss of deposit 99-81 days 35% of holiday package price 80-61 days 50% of holiday package price 60 days or less 100% of holiday package price All cancellations must be received in writing by Travelmarvel and are not effective until this notification has been received. If your holiday has commenced, 100% of the full holiday package price is charged. There is no refund for unused services or if portions of the holiday package are missed. Additional cancellation fees may also be charged in respect of accommodation reserved outside the holiday package dates. These cancellation fees are in addition to any fees that may be levied by Travelmarvel and your travel agent (if any). INCLUDED IN HOLIDAY PACKAGE PRICE All coach and travel, accommodation, airport transfers on the first and last day, sightseeing, specified excursions, meals, tour, admissions and the services of a tour director (if minimum numbers are not met, the tour director’s duties may be covered by a driver guide) as stated in your itinerary.

Day 1. Arrive Launceston, Beaconsfield On arrival, you’ll transfer to your hotel In Launceston. Stay: Launceston, Best Western Plus. B Day 2. Launceston, Beaconsfield Enjoy a picturesque journey following the Tamar River. Visit the gold mining town of Beaconsfield, and take a guided tour of the Mine & Heritage Centre. Enjoy canapés and a Welcome Drink at the James Boag’s Brewery, before a Welcome Dinner at your hotel. Stay: Launceston, Best Western Plus. D Day 3. Launceston, Freycinet National Park, Bicheno Drive through northern Tasmania's wine-producing area. At Bridestowe Lavender Estate, enjoy a guided tour of the distillery and sample the unique lavender-inspired fare. Traverse Weldborough Pass and stop at East Coast Natureworld to meet a Tasmanian devil. Travel into Freycinet National Park to enjoy a walk with a naturalist guide. Day 4. Bicheno, Ross, Richmond, Hobart Discover the historic heart of Tasmania at Campbell Town and Ross. Continue south to Richmond, home to the Richmond Bridge, which is 25km long. It is then off to Hobart to enjoy a city tour. Three Nights: Hobart, RACV/RACT Hobart Apartment Hotel. BD Day 5. Port Arthur Historic Site, Hobart Embark on a guided tour of the Port Arthur Historic Site, once Australia’s most notorious convict prison. Day 6. Hobart, Salamanca Market Soak up the lively culture of the Tasmanian capital today, during a tour of Salamanca Place, Constitution Dock and the city’s picturesque harbour. Visit the famous Salamanca Market featuring more than 300 stalls, showcasing the best of the island’s fresh produce. This afternoon, you might choose to embark on a guided tour of Australia’s oldest brewery or perhaps visit the unique MONA – the Museum of Old and New Art (see page 24 of the Travelmarvel 2017/18 Tasmania brochure). B Day 7. Hobart, Russell Falls, Lake St Clair, Strahan Russell Falls is a jewel in the crown of Mt Field National Park. After a short walk to see the falls, marvel at the pristine shores of Lake St Clair. Travel by coach to the town of Strahan and enjoy a buffet dinner at View 42º Restaurant and Bar this evening. Day 8. Strahan, Gordon River Cruise, Cradle Mountain Board a cruise across the still waters of Macquarie Harbour and enter World Heritage-listed Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park. Continue to the formal penal colony of Sarah Island for a tour of the historic convict ruins. Enjoy a buffet lunch on board before returning to Strahan. Rejoin your coach and journey through stirring landscapes bound for Cradle Mountain. Stay amid nature at Cradle Mountain Hotel. Stay: Cradle Mountain Hotel. BLD Day 9.
