this guide I want to extend my biggest congratulations to you on your engagement! This is such an exciting time - busy with planning and the need to make a million and one decisions. This guide was created for you, the bride, to help make choosing your wedding photographer an easy decision. In it you will find our packages and pricing, FAQs and a list of preferred vendors. My hope is that this guide will be helpful to you in making an informed decision about who you are hiring as your wedding photographer!

about I’m Chantelle, the face and photographer behind C & E Collective. Weddings are my absolute favourite thing to photograph, so much so, that it's about the only thing I photograph these days. So many people ask me what draws me to weddings and honestly, I have a hard time putting it into words. There's something about the excitement in the air, the immeasurable bond between two people and, of course, the flowers, the dresses, the rings and countless other pretty things. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the warm fuzzies I feel when my couples receive their photos and they truly love the way they look and are able to relive the best day of their lives through what I've captured. That's the real reason why I do what I do. I feel lucky to be able to meet and work with so many lovely couples. There I go, babbling again. Here are a few things to know about me. • I live in a small town in southwestern Ontario with my husband, Scott and our cockapoo, Gus • Michael Scott is my spirit animal • Chocolate milk is my fav drink and if it isn't yours, what is wrong with you? (kidding!) • Flowers are my fav but I can't keep my garden alive to save my life • Pride & Prejudice (circa 2006) is my favourite movie and it influences about 100% of my work

the details The proper term for my shooting style is a 'lifestyle' photographer. I'll break that down for you because honestly, the term doesn't make much sense at face value. Essentially what this means is that during the getting ready, ceremony and reception, I will act like a fly on the wall, capturing moments as they happen. During this portion of the day, I will also capture details in a curated manner. During the more formal pictures (i.e. family, bridal party, bride and groom portraits), I will direct and pose. This isn't to say your images will look static and stiff (in fact I want them to look alive and natural), it is simply to ensure everyone in the image looks their absolute best. I find that directing couples into a pose can also help to get rid of their nerves about standing in front of a camera and help to solve the age old question "what do I do with my hands?"

Because I shoot both film and digital, I edit the digital images to mimic that of film. My images have been described as light, airy and soft. Every image you receive will be colour corrected and edited to reflect this style

The typical turnaround time for your complete wedding gallery is 5-7 weeks. The typical turnaround time for your engagement session gallery is 4 weeks. Keep in mind that I always work my hardest to get your photos to you ahead of schedule.

On average, you will receive approximately 40-50 images/hour of coverage on your wedding day. All files will be delivered via an online gallery that you are able to download immediately, straight to your computer.
