WELCOME Hello and Welcome! This is such an exciting time for you two! I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. I know, I went through it not too long ago. I want to help in any way possible and I’m happy to answer any questions you might have. This is just a little look into my work, my FAQ and pricing. I really do love what I do, and my favorite part is getting to know couples like you. Every love story is unique, and I love capturing it for future generations.
If you have any questions at all I’m here to help! I dont consider myself just a photographer, but a girl that has been to so many weddings I’ve lost count! In that time, I’ve seen it all and have picked up some tips + tricks along the way. <3 Candice

THIS IS ME!
I’m Candice, the photographer behind Candice Benjamin Photography! I’m so excited that you found me and because I believe that getting to know my clients is the #1 way to ensure an awesome experience, I’d love to tell you a litte about myself! Here are a few things you should know!
- Jay and I met though mutual friends, and it took over a year for us to start dating. - Jay helps out with most of my local weddings, if I can bribe him with enough Diet Coke. - We’ve been married since 02-05-14. (The day after Jay’s birthday so we will never forget) - We don’t have children but we do have two spoiled cats named Lulu + BadAss! - We live in Northern Colorado, but we love to travel! I have family all over the US. - Candice Benjamin Photography started in 2010 while after being talked into shooting a wedding for a friend. After that first wedding I was hooked! - I am the lead photographer, email writer, blogger and editor! I like wearing a lot of hats! - I dance when I get really excited. - I shoot 20-25 weddings annually. - I’m slightly obsessed with decorating, cooking and craft beers. - I love creating beautiful images but more importantly, I love serving couples on one of the greatest days of their lives!! M Y P H I L O S O P H Y | I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over! Our goal as wedding photographers is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When our couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images! When I think back to my wedding day, I remember amazing memories.... but most of the moments I remember really well are the instances that were captured in my pictures. They are priceless to me. Our photographer made us feel so incredibly comfortable and for the first time, I experienced what it feels like to be in front of the camera as a bride. Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience..... shouldn’t it be fun? and enjoyable? and natural? I think so! My goal is to not only capture memories for my clients, it’s to create an experience that they will never forget.
T H E P R O C E S S | One way I ensure that my couples enjoy the BEST photographic experience possible is through forming a relationship with our couples. We try our best to make sure that all of our couples are the PERFECT fit for us before officially booking. A bride and groom should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer and be EXCITED about the whole process! After booking, I love getting to know my clients through an ENGAGEMENT SESSION that helps them warm up to the camera so that they are ready to rock and roll on the wedding day! By the time the wedding day approaches, my clients feel more like friends and that creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography! If you havenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t heard...Iâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;m obsessed with the color TEAL!
When you’re planning a wedding day timeline, the best advice I could give is to ADD CUSHION TIME! Sometimes the most simple things can take an extra 20 minutes and then all of a sudden, the whole morning is thrown off. I have seen “getting the bride in her dress” take almost 45 minutes because of a button malfunction. It’s a smart idea to add in an extra ten minutes here and there so that we have some wiggle room to work with! This way, if one part of the day gets thrown off by 20 minutes, I can help you compensate that time in other areas. There are so many different things to think about when you’re planning a wedding day and so here are some tips for the preceremony timeline! I realize that every single wedding day is different and so not all of these tips will apply to every wedding day schedule. Something else to consider is that not EVERYTHING will go as planned, and I promise you, that is completely normal!!

FAQ How do you require payments to be broken down?
I ask for 50% retainer of the contracted amount to save the date and the balance to be due 30 days prior to the wedding.
What form of payment do you take?

Do you provide High Resolution files?
Yes, all of my packages and every hour of shooting include color-corrected files. I provide a signed release so that you may
make prints on your own. I can recommend local and online print labs.
Will the files on the disk be marked with a logo?
Nope. Even though I would love for you to be a Candice Benjamin Photography cheerleader, it wouldnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t be nice to place my
logo on your memories.
Do you provide online proofing?
Yes. After the images are color-corrected I upload them for viewing, downloads and even give the option for guests or yourself to
purchase prints though my online proofing system.
How many photos do you take?
Every wedding is different, but in general I deliver 100-125 images per hour of shooting.
How do we see our images?
After 6-8 weeks you will be able to view all of your images via my online proofing. The gallery remains online for at least 12 months.
How many photographers will be at my weddings?
For weddings, myself and a second photographer will be working to photograph your special day. For more elaborate weddings,
I will be bringing an additional, non-shooting assistant.

We are more than willing to travel for engagement sessions! We actually love it when

We average 75-100 images per hour that we’re shooting. We love delivering our client’s
