The site of Spearman Ranch is located in the south conner of College Station,TX. It is surrounded by Green Prairie Rd W, and Arrington Rd, which is also close to Texas 6 Highway. There are different kinds of communities nearby. Big lot communities are to the East and South. Midium and small lot communities are to the North.Multiple amenities are within 5 minutes driving distance such as supermarkets, restaurants, and clinics. And a horse ranch is attached to the south boundary of the site.

PLANTING ZONING DESIGN There are three distictive planting zones in the Central Lake Park. 1. Meadow area - in the middle of the park. 2. Waterfront area - around the lake and along creeks. 3. Building area - near artificial construction and hard paving.

Its coast in the in the south lies on the Gulf of Guinea in the Atlantic Ocean. Awka Ibom is a state in Nigeria. it is located in the coastal south-southern part of the country."Akwa Ibom is one of Nigeria’s 36 states with a population of over 5 million people and more than 10 million people in diaspora."

INDIVIDUAL DETAILED DESIGN - REACH CENTER INTRODUCTION The Agricultural Research and Education Center is located in the southwest part of the Thompson & Grace Medical City Phase II site and is close to the main entrance of the site. There are several agriculture-related buildings which are used for offices, classrooms and research labs. There are also greenhouses and open fields that could be used to grow healthy vegetables. The Storage Warehouses are located in the center to store food for the center and the Farmers’ Market.

Located in the West Campus of Texas A&M University, the site is designed to be an educational water park. With the respect of nature, large amout of matured trees in site are protected. New landform would be built depend on existing topography.

This project is located in the courtyard between Langford Building A, B and C. The design is aiming at creating a themed temporary landscape for all faculty and students of College of Architecuture to relax and enjoy life.

MASTER PLAN N

DESIGN STATEMENT The theme of the temporary design is “FOOD FESTIVAL” with the sloga “Healthy Eating, Healthy Life”. The event will be hold at Oct 10th-Oct 17th, 9:00am-6:00pm, welcome faculty and all students of out campus. There are two main goals to achieve through this event: 1. Tell people what is healthy food and how to have a balance dietary structure in daily life. 2. Teach people how to cook healthily. As there are so many cooking methods around the world, learn those healthier cuisine are also aspect of eating healthily.
