A mobile and flexible room divider.

Fusion is a mobile room divider, that can adapt flexibly to any housing situation through various options and modules. The design convinces through a puristic design language, simple functional solutions and the interplay of the two main bodies. The base is primarily an easily accessible storage space and can also be used as seating furniture. In addition, there are levers on the side surfaces to extend wheels, which allow the divider to be mobile. The wall element is equipped with modules according to the customer‘s needs and can be positioned in the base in vertical and horizontal format. Through different color, size and material options, the design becomes an individualized experience.

The concept offers simple sailing solutions and therefor it’s even possible for beginners to navigate the boat. Special bumper elements provides safety and allow mistakes. Everything is possible on deck. From comfortable loungers to a large social area up to cooking and cooling possibilities. The design stands out through simple forms and clear contrasts. The yacht offers various colour and material options to create a customizable experience.

We looked into some statistics and recognised an interesting market niche in Yacht Design. There is no specific Yacht designed for the needs of people between 30 and 35. Our focus group was defined and we dived into the generation y and did a lot of scenario and behaviour analysis. In the end we defined three main topics, which defined our whole design process.

Komptech Cetus is a fully automatic wood chippers which combines the functions of multiple machines. By using the geometric storage of logs, it provides greatest amounts of wood chips in a very short time. It is more energy efficient compared to current processing machinery and the design is compact. The edgy design language ensures an inexpensive and simple production.

The Belassi B6X is a pure performance jetski. Based on the aesthetics of formula one cars and supermoto bikes the design reflects agility and speed. One characteristic feature is, that its split up in just 2 main volumes which are made out of carbon fibre. It has a integrated full suspension system, that pushes the driving enjoyment to whole new level.

PROFLEX-U is a combination of a ligament injury protection and a comfortable ski underwear. The prevention of ligament injuries works with overlaid spring steel stripes, so that the normal bending of the knee is possible, but movements to the side are prevented.

IDEATION The idea was to create a form that prevents the overbending of the knee to the side. It has to be light weight and comfortable but also effective. The key idea was to use the effect of spring steel stripes, which is bendig in one axis is possible but not in another.

On the left you can see the model making process which lasted 3 weeks. The final design of the system is spring steel stripes fixed in a rubber coat in a layered silicon form.
