GETTING PERSONAL Cannabis Cooking Magazine Cooking with cannabis is cooking for personalized medicine. Once you cook with cannabis and consume it, you are eating an edible. MAKE YOUR OWN & DE-STRESS: Basic Canna Butter Recipe: Water Float Version

Ingredients & Tools ¼ ounce coarsely ground cannabis (use a food processor or rough chop) 1 stick (½ Cup) unsalted organic butter 3 Cups Water Cheesecloth Tongs Knife Slotted Spoon

Method Place water in saucepan and bring to a boil. Add butter to the boiling water. While the butter is melting, place the ground cannabis in the cheesecloth and tie up forming your own cannabis 'tea bag'. Reduce heat to simmer. Place the cannabis 'tea bag' in the saucepan with water and butter. Simmer for 3-4 hours. Using tongs, remove the cannabis 'tea bag' from sauce pan. Continue using tongs to squeeze every last drop of liquid from the 'tea bag' back into the saucepan. Remove saucepan from heat, allow to fully cool. Then place saucepan in refrigerator for 8-12 hours. The canna butter will solidify on the surface of the water during this time. Using a knife cut around saucepan edges to free the solid canna butter. Using a slotted spoon remove canna butter from water. Place canna butter in an airtight container and store in fridge until ready to use. Always label and date canna butter. Use responsibly.


CANNA BUTTER DAIRY-FREE

Dairy-Free Canna Butter Recipe

Ingredients & Tools ¼ ounce coarse ground cannabis (use a food processor or rough chop) ½ Cup Organic Coconut Oil 3 Cups Water Cheesecloth Tongs Knife Slotted Spoon

While the coconut oil is melting, place the ground cannabis in the cheesecloth and tie up forming your own cannabis 'tea bag'. Reduce heat to simmer. Place the cannabis 'tea bag' in the saucepan with water and coconut oil. Simmer for 3-4 hours. Using tongs, remove the cannabis 'tea bag' from sauce pan. Continue using tongs to squeeze every last drop of liquid from the 'tea bag' back into the saucepan. Remove saucepan from heat, allow to fully cool. Then place saucepan in refrigerator for 8-12 hours. The coconut oil will solidify on the surface of the water during this time. Using a knife cut around saucepan edges to free the now solid dairy-free canna butter. Using a slotted spoon remove dairy-free canna butter from water. Place dairy-free canna butter in an airtight container and store in fridge until ready to use. Always label and date dairy-free canna butter. Use responsibly.

INFUSED HONEY Ingredients & Tools 1/2 Cup Canna Oil (See following Canna Oil recipe ) 12 oz Raw Organic Honey 1 ( 16oz ) Amber colored glass storage jar Blender

Method Pour Canna Oil and Honey in blender. Blend on high for 30-60 seconds until oil and honey combine. Transfer honey oil blend to the amber jar and top with lid. Store in fridge up to 3 months. Always label and date Canna Honey. Use responsibly.

THERE ARE MANY METHODS TO MAKE CANNA OIL. OUR FAVORITES: Canna Oil 1 Ingredients & Tools 16 oz Organic Cold Pressed Grape Seed oil 1 cup finely ground cannabis flower Double Boiler Candy Thermometer

Method Using a double boiler, add water to the under-pot. Next add oil and ground cannabis to the upper-pot. Heat oil on low and simmer for 6-8 hours. Stir occasionally and monitor your oil making sure not to exceed 245° F. Remove pan from heat and allow to cool. Place extra fine metal strainer over large bowl. Pour oil and cannabis through the strainer into bowl. Transfer Canna Oil into dark colored glass jar or bottle of choice. Store in dark cool pantry for up to two months. Always label and date Canna Oil. Use responsibly.

Canna Oil 2 Ingredients & Tools 16 oz Organic Cold Pressed Grape Seed Oil 1 cup finely ground cannabis flower Slow cooker

Method Add oil and ground cannabis to slow cooker. Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Stir occasionally and monitor your oil. Allow oil to cool in slow cooker. Place extra fine metal strainer over large bowl. Pour oil and cannabis through the strainer into bowl. Transfer Canna Oil into dark colored glass jar or bottle of choice. Store in dark cool pantry for up to two months. Always label and date Canna Oil. Use responsibly. NOTE: There are special herbal extraction machines designed for home-use that simplify the Canna Oil and Canna Butter making processes. CANNABIS INFUSED SALT RECIPE Time to make: 1 hour INGREDIENTS 1 Cup Sea Salt 1 Tbsp Cannabis Tincture (See recipe)

METHOD Preheat oven to 200 degrees fahrenheit. In a medium sized mixing bowl add salt and cannabis tincture. Stir together till evenly combined. Pour mixed salt onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Using a fork, spread salt into a thin layer across the pan. Bake at 200°F for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Next place salt in a sieve. Using the backside of a spoon, press sugar through the sieve to break up all clumps. Store CANNABIS INFUSED SALT in an airtight salt cellar. CANNABIS SUGAR RECIPE Time to make: 1 hour INGREDIENTS 2 Cups Organic Sugar 2 Tbsp Cannabis Tincture (See recipe)

CANNA TINCTURE INFUSED TINCTURES OFFER VERSITILITY& CONTROL

Editor’s Simple Pick We’ve made many tinctures using varying bases from brandy to vegetable glycerine, and infused them with herbs and spices for perfect food pairings...but this Canna Tincture recipe is a perfect, pure tincture that can be used on its’ own or for culinary exploration. It’s a staple for any cannabis connoisseur. Please Note, this process takes 1 month, or create your tincture using a Magical Butter™ machine in no time at all! Cannabis Tincture

Ingredients & Tools 1 oz Decarboxylated Cannabis - chopped fine Everclear Alcohol (enough to fill the jar) 1 Quart Jar with Lid 8— 4 oz Amber or Blue Dropper Bottles Cheesecloth Medium size bowl String or rubber band

Method Open one 1 quart jar. Add cannabis into jar. Pour alcohol into the jar leaving ½ inch of space at the top. Cover tight with jar lid. Place jar in a paper bag and place paper bag in a dark cabinet. Gently shake the mixture 1x per day for 4 weeks.

4 Weeks Later: Place cheesecloth over bowl and secure using a rubber band or string. Gently pour all contents of jar into the cheesecloth lined bowl. Draw up the cheesecloth to strain out cannabis from liquid. Using a funnel pour strained tincture into dropper bottles of choice. Store at room temperature in a dark place for up to 1 year. Always label and date Canna Tincture. Use responsibly. NOTE: This substance is highly flammable. Do not smoke near or expose to heat/flame.


DAIRY-FREE INFUSED NUT MYLK

ELEVATED DAIRY-FREE NUT BEVERAGE PERFECT FOR, COCO, ENGLISH TEA, COFFEE DRINKS, PUDDINGS...ETC

INGREDIENTS & TOOLS 1 Cup Raw Almonds 1 Cup Water (for soaking almonds) 3 1/2 cups filtered water 2 pitted Medjool Dates 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract Canna Tincture (see recipe-quantity varies per desired effects) 1 Small Pinch of Sea Salt

Colander Blender Sprouting Bag or Cheese Cloth Large Bowl Funnel One 24oz Bottle or Storage Jar

1. SOAK NUTS OVERNIGHT Soak almonds overnight in 1 cup of water. Using a colander, drain water from nuts. Rinse hydrated almonds with clean water and place them in the blender. Next add 3 1/2 Cups filtered water, dates, pinch of salt and vanilla extract to the blender. 2. BLEND & STRAIN Blend high speed for 1 minute. Place sprouting bag or cheese cloth over a large bowl. Pour almond mylk mixture into the bowl through your sprouting bag/ cheese cloth "bag". Gently squeeze from top to bottom of your sprouting bag filtering every drop of almond mylk out the bag into the bowl. This process takes a few minutes, so go slow. 3 DOSE. CHILL & RELAX. Add your preferred amount of Canna Tincture to strained almond mylk in bowl. The amount of Tincture used will be based on your serving size and dose amount desired. Transfer Canna Nut Mylk to 24oz glass bottle or jar using a funnel. Secure lid and store in fridge up to 4 days. Always label and date Canna Nut Mylk. Use responsibly.
