Visual Art play for deep relaxation? Visual art has the power to transform a guest to another place and time which can uplift mood. When the spa chooses art that is a true reflection of the aspiration of the spa's brand identity, it has a further opportunity to bring the guest's spa treatment experience to a more successful level. These images can be incorporated into the treatments rooms, halls, and hotel rooms. This artistic theme can be carried through te the brochures, website and direct mail.

I have been photographing natural spa product materials like sait, tea, olives being harvested and then used at a spa toward a new book idea in coordination with Gina Molinari, who owns Healing Harvest teas which still brings me in contact with 'waters.' For example, I photographed her teas being harvested in Tuscany and then I photographed this tea being served to guests at Terme di Saturnia mineral waters spa! My "Goddess Portraits" created with Kat James, Total Transformation and Gina Molinari, are done with women after spa therapies, and a hair and make up application. I photograph portraits bringing out the soul and best energies of the women. This year the trip was on the Costa cruise line, so I was photographing on the deck overlooking the Carib! These photographs are framed and put in the women's home to inspire lifestyle or identity changes. For GB Hotels, Abano Spa, Italy I photographed five towns in their region which included the water city of the world, Venice. They plan to make a book of my images to give spa guests to guide them in how to explore the region during their "cure". These shoots, located by water, draw me nearer to 'the source,' which I believe will be the most important element for wellness forever.
