New Mac - New Style Newsletter After four years of hard work the emac breathed it’s last and was instantly replaced by a brand new imac, hence the new style newsletter. Will it last? So May has come and gone, two Bank Holidays and the usual mix of sunshine and showers, and the usual Whitsun weekend recipe of rain, rain and more rain!!!
Fun with Nanny at the airport field and Hartshill Country Park
Kizzie’s 8th Birthday & Baptism Bank holiday Monday 26th May was a Special day for Kizzie. On her 8th Birthday she was baptised and confirmed by her father Derek.
Air Field Fun with Nan & Granddad On Sunday May 18th, Isobel, Morgan, Nanny & Granddad parked the car at Marston Green Station and walked across to the field at the end of the runway
One of these days Nanny will act her age - but not too soon we hope!!
Trapped in Coventry!!! On Bank Holiday Monday 26th May Nanny, Granddad, Isobel & Morgan caught the train from Marston Green to Coventry. After doing some shopping and having lunch we returned to the station, only to find that all trains were cancelled because a tree had been blown onto the track. To cut a long story short we got home eventually in time for Kizzies baptism!!
Saturday Afternoon at Hartshill Country Park On Saturday afternoon 24th May, Nanny & Granddad made the most of the sunshine and took Isobel & Morgan to Hartshill Country Park where they tried out the new childrens play area. Not sure who had most fun, Nanny or Isobel and Morgan!!!
Coventry Transport Richie’s 40th Museum On Wednesday 28th May Granddad took Isobel &
Morgan to the Transport Museum in Coventry. As well as seeing all of the many vehicles on show they went in the THRUST simulator as it ‘travelled’ at the land speed record - 763 m.p.h.
Birthday ON SATURDAY 31ST MAY IT WAS OFF TO LEICESTER TO CELEBRATE RICHARDS 40TH BIRTHDAY. JUST AN ENJOYABLE EVENING OF FOOD AND CHILLING OUT.
