Lynne poses happily with our brand new ’10’ plate Hyundai i10 car, registered on 1st March. So it was a fond farewell to the silver Escort - scrapped for £2000 under the Governments ‘scrappage’ scheme, and hello to a shiny new economy car.
Auntie Shirley Visits
Auntie Shirley travelled from Thatcham to spend a long weekend in March. Shopping trips, Bingo and family visits were the order of the day.

H a s STransport pring S prung ? Coventry Museum ....... Sunday 28th March was officially the first day of British ‘Summertime’. The clocks had gone forward an hour, the daffodils were in bloom, the sun shone a little, but the wind blew and it was cold!! Larry and Lynne headed to Maxstoke Reservoir for the first time this year - no doubt it won’t be the last.
