The Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization of more than 1,900 institutions and individuals dedicated to the advancement of the economic, industrial, professional, cultural and civic welfare of Stark County. The mission of the Canton Regional Chamber is to lead the region in business and community development through collaboration and innovation. We achieve this through economic development, education and workforce development, government a airs and more than 70 events and programs annually. Through the work of our ve departments, we focus on the development of downtown Canton’s center city, we celebrate football heroes in the Hall of Fame City, we develop lifelong leaders with a mind toward community trusteeship, we strive to attract, retain and engage young professionals, and we put safety rst and foremost in the workplace.
Leadership Stark County
Leadership Stark County is in its 36th year and uses a range of leadership development programs to build a community of engaged leaders committed to positively impacting our region. Our programs include the 10-month Signature Program for emerging and established leaders, the Spotlight for Young Professionals program, the Encounter Stark County tour, non-pro t board member training and placement, custom training including Gallup strengths-based leadership development, Youth Leadership Academy for sophomores and juniors in high school.
YSTARK!
Now in its 16th year, ystark! works to attract, retain, and engage vibrant, energetic, and diverse young professionals (YPs) in Stark County by collaborating with individuals, businesses, and community organizations. The e ort is dedicated to engaging and empowering YPs through networking, professional development, social and cultural events, and civic involvement. These e orts will help to root YPs in the community, and therefore, retain them as productive citizens, while continuously promoting Stark County as a desirable location for YPs to live, work and play.
