71st Eielson Squadron-Cadets Mc Goffin and Tuttle during o-rides with Maj. Kaden in the C182. O-rides provide an excellent introduction to aviation.

The 71st squadron cadet program under the leadership of Lt Rosario and Lt England is going strong. Cadets continue to improve on drill movements. Then they had a fun class with Lt Jon Orr on straw rockets and the Isaac Newton’s three laws of motion. They also talked about Mae Jemison the First African-American Woman Astronaut. We also covered the requirements to participate and all the important things of Civil Air Patrol’s Emergency Services mission.
