Paraquat Label Training in Spanish

As required by EPA’s Paraquat Dichloride Human Health Mitigation Decision and amended paraquat dichloride (a.k.a., paraquat) product labels, certified applicators must successfully complete an EPA-approved training program before mixing, loading, and/or applying paraquat. The training provides important information about paraquat’s toxicity, new label requirements and restrictions, and the consequences of misuse. This additional Paraquat Label Training requirement for certified applicators (QAL, QAC or PAC) to mix, load, handle or apply paraquat to be renewed every three years is now available in Spanish. Anyone using a new Paraquat Label with training requirement noted, must take the 1-hour training and pass a test to mix, load, handle or apply paraquat. Kings County has additionally prepared an online training for CDPR CE if you are interested in learning more after taking the required Paraquat Label Training. This training covers Paraquat Dichloride: Toxicity, Label Changes, and Closed System Requirements and is an interactive, click driven, course that includes some video segments.
