AND ECTABLE SPI TS OF THE WO D

Welcome to a step above first class.

You have managed to find your way into the most secret of carriages, created in tribute to President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s fondness for inviting his most distinguished guests into his private train cabin.

This speakeasy is named for the mystery that surrounds President Roosevelt’s private train car, which would pull into the Grand Central Terminal onto Track 61 each time he returned to New York City.

Only history knows what the inside of this exclusive and luxurious train car looked like, but legend has it that it is supposedly still sitting under the bustling streets of Manhattan, parked on the very same track since 1945 to this day.
