At the heart of the Capella’s philosophy is our visionary curation of culture and experience.
We have put together a series of enriching programmes and rituals that celebrate heritage, art, gastronomy and wellness; each tailored to provide you with unique Capella Moments.
Breakfast with Peacocks
Start your day in the company of our beautiful peacocks and an epicurean breakfast at Fiamma. Here, you can choose to dine alfresco, where you can take in the picturesque views of our cascading pools and lush tropical surroundings.
Did you know? Peacocks are native to India and Sri Lanka. The national birds of India, peacocks are one of the largest flying birds, and can grow up to five metres in length.
Breakfast at Fiamma is available from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., daily.
If you prefer to dine in privacy, please contact our Capella Culturists to arrange for in-room breakfast service.
The Living Room
Spend a leisurely afternoon at The Living Room where you can enjoy a curated selection of light refreshments and beverages. Available for your reading pleasure is a curated selection of books and magazines, and even historical books that document the nation’s rich past.
The Living Room is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Afternoon tea is available from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The Pineapple Room
In the evenings, join us as The Living Room transforms into The Pineapple Room, where you will discover our new bar concept as you indulge in classic and contemporary cocktails - each with a story to tell. Culinary highlights such as Singapore chilli crab pie tee, pan-fried Hokkaido scallops with ginger flower-pineapple sauce and sakura chicken satay are the perfect complements to your pre-dinner aperitif or nightcap.
At The Pineapple Room, we invite you to experience our warm hospitality, foster meaningful connections, and create convivial memories as we pay homage to the storied history of Sentosa Island and Capella Singapore.
Scenic Jog
Put on your running shoes and enjoy the scenic lush greenery of the hotel grounds. You might be greeted by one or two of our resident peacocks along the way! A jogging map can be provided by our Capella Culturists or Front Desk team.
Take A Dip
Beat the summer heat and stay cool in our iconic cascading pools, reminiscent of the rice padi fields in Bali.
Lounge on the sun bed with a good read or approach our pool attendants for a range of pool floats.
The cascading pools are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., daily.
Floats are available for use at the pools between 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and are available all-day for a splashing fun time in the privacy of your villa’s plunge pool. Please approach our Capella Culturists for more information.
Transcend And Transform
Step into a world of relaxation at Auriga Spa and emerge rejuvenated and renewed. Our Auriga Signature Moon Ritual is designed according to the energies of the lunar cycle that will restore your equilibrium and increase your energy levels.
Auriga Spa is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily. Treatments are available between 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Local Pop-Up Workshops
UV RESIN ACCESSORY MAKING WORKSHOP
Join us for an immersive craft workshop inspired by the serene shores that surround Capella Singapore, where you will take home with you your very own handmade earrings, pendant necklace or key chain.
Whether you are a seasoned crafter or a curious beginner, discover the beauty of layering resin and showcase your artistic flair with themed decorative elements such as seashells, coloured resin, dried flowers, colourful glitter and foil.

Peranakans, also known as the Straits Chinese community in Singapore, generally refer to a person of Chinese and Malay or Indonesian heritage.
Be introduced to the unique Peranakan culture as you learn the traditional craft of Peranakan beadwork.

BYOB - BUILD YOUR OWN BOBA
Treat yourself to a mid-day sweet treat as you create your favourite milk tea variation using Navegante tea. This house special tea is an assam blend that exudes a robust aroma, strong vanilla flavour with hints of caramel, and inspired by our Navegante rum that is available exclusively at Bob’s Bar.

Heritage and Art Tour
Learn about Singapore’s colonial past and discover the history behind our majestic heritage bungalows built in the 1880s for the British officers of the Royal Artillery. You will also be acquainted with over 900 commissioned art pieces that are displayed throughout the resort, and learn more about the six heritage trees that are over a hundred years old.
The Heritage and Art Tour is available from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily, and commences from the hotel lobby.
Programme will be cancelled in the event of wet weather, and is subject to availability depending on the number of registered participants. Please register your interest with our Capella Culturists at least 24 hours in advance.
RITUALS
Bosun’s Call
Join us in our daily Bosun’s Call ceremony that pays homage to the resort’s history as the home of the British officers of the Royal Artillery and their families.
A ceremony practised on board naval ships, Bosun’s Call was a sounding signal to the crew by blowing the Bosun’s whistle when voices were inaudible over the sounds of the sea. This is a navy command that signifies “all hands on deck” for sailors to receive their daily rum ration.
Here at Capella Singapore, the mixologists at Bob’s Bar will wheel out a barrel every evening to serve tasting shots of homemade Grog.

A PERANAKAN WAY OF LIFE
Immerse in this authentic experience with an exclusive Peranakan museum tour at the Straits Enclave. Step in to a moment in time at the Koon Seng Peranakan House where you will find treasured heirlooms and ornaments. Take a stroll along Katong, an enclave well known for quaint shophouses adorned with Peranakan influences before ending the experience with traditional Nyonya kueh and Katong Laksa, a spicy Straits Chinese noodles soup.
MORNINGS AT THE WET MARKET
Traditionally a place where locals buy fresh produce and forge camaraderie, wet markets are the heart of local communities. Led by one of our chefs, embark on a guided tour at Tiong Bahru Market situated in one of Singapore’s oldest estates, where you can pick the ingredients of your choice. Upon your return to the hotel, our chefs will cook a delectable local dish for you at Chef’s Table, before indulging in a three-course set lunch.
MAHJONG MANIA
Be introduced to a local expert player who will share with you tips and tricks of the tile-based game. An entertaining and educational experience that is said to help slow down and treat dementia if played often enough, the option of private or group lessons are available to introduce you to the game.
