1976 Where it began
Pam Golding sold her first property from her garage. Her way. The Pam Golding Way.
Armed with style, honesty and a steely tenacity, Pam’s grace and integrity redefined the real estate industry in South Africa. She was passionate about helping people and loved saying, ‘I’ve got something for you that you would love’, and getting it absolutely right.
1996 Andrew Golding takes the reigns
Pam Golding’s youngest son, Dr Andrew Golding, took over the reins of the family business in 1996.
For those of you who have met Andrew, you will know that he not only inherited his mother’s warmth and quiet humility, but also her innate business acumen.
2016 I am PAM
The “I am Pam” campaign launched via our first TV advert and was essentially the beginning of when first starting referring to our PGP-ness as “The Pam Golding Way”.
This was the first campaign to reach hyper-local agent level, where every agent had professional photos done and every piece of collateral was updated.

2021 Live Remarkable
Following the COVID years, everyone’s lives were affected and changed. We took this opportunity to reflect on the purpose of PGP and the following was launched into the business:
Live Remarkable – the Pam Golding Way
It is not a goal to be achieved, not a destination to be reached, nor a moment in time to be savoured. Nor is it about the transactional nature of our business. In fact, it is not about business at all. It is about a way of being. It is about cherishing the human spirit … about what drives us … what inspires us … what we really value … what we celebrate…..and what makes us ‘us’, both as individuals and, indeed, as a collective group of like-minded beings.
2022 I am Campaign
In 2022, we expanded this initiative with the “I am...” campaign.
This campaign allows our clients to gain a deeper insight into our agents through authentic and inspiring statements of intention and affirmations.
2023 Remarkable Human Properties
Our latest brand campaign centres around the concept of Remarkable Human Properties. This evolution of our Live Remarkable campaign showcases our remarkable people, whose human attributes, values, and passions define our organization. Since our inception in 1976, the quality and importance of our people have been fundamental to our success and is indeed what makes us, us. Here are the two straplines:

Designing your own marketing collateral
We have hundreds of marketing collateral templates for print, brochures, drops, adverts, social media, digital and WhatsApp on Alchemy and additional marketing templates on Marq available for use.
There should not be a requirement for bespoke design work. If there is a template you require – and a template means that it will be used in the size and layout with edits only to the images and text content – on a regular basis by more than a single office, then please put your request through to me via email - lisa.tulipan@pamgolding.co.za
The exception is outdoor billboard and signage – specifically office signage as there is not a uniform size to work with. Please email me your requirements.
The PGP Logo
Our logo connects us to the PGP family and gives us our own identity. PGP Corporate Brand CI Guide (Refer to page 14 – 24)
This is our logo, which includes the green space around it. Do not crop or alter the logo in any way.

Our logo has a clear space area. This ensures that no other elements get too close to the logo or compromise its legibility. The best practice clear space should be used wherever possible. The clear space area is determined by the size of the logo.

Submitting a Design Brief
Always check Alchemy and Marq first in case we already have what you are looking for. Please send all briefs via email and explain the purpose of your brief – why are you asking for it. Then refer to the 6 key requirements below when compiling a design brief for submission:
6 Key Requirements when submitting a brief
1. Please provide a deadline – ASAP is not a deadline. The deadline should also be realistic.
2. Is it for print, outdoor, online?
3. Please include the sizes required, noting which is height (h) and which is width(w)
4. Are crop and bleed marks required?
5. Portrait or landscape orientation?
6. What information is required? Please supply all the info – including contact details, agent names etc.
Briefs are to be sumitted with a brief form detailing the requirements of the job and all elements needed for the design is to be supplied upon briefing.

A page is created automatically when an agent is loaded onto HR and Alchemy. However, it is recommended that you update it with agent bio and testimonials as a min.

Agents can post listings for sale to their personal unbranded accounts using the various social media collateral templates available to download via Alchemy.
Agents are encouraged to join community Facebook groups – hyper-local profiling – assisting with community matters – often there are queries about the area agents can help with – they become known as the person to go to for info on the area – and then the go to person for sales.
