Carrying this momentum forwardinto2025 will result in addedliquid bulk cargo transfer capacity becauseofthe addition/rehabilitation of anotherdeep-draftberth on theMississippi River, the construction of conveyance forimproving grain-handling efficiencies at thegrain elevator,and themodernizationand strengtheningofthe Port’s oldest deep-water dock.Also helpingwillbethe finalization of acollaborative studybythe lowerMississippi Riverports to identify both import and exportcargo opportunities, notonlyfor theMississippi River butfor theentirestate of Louisiana.
